Kind of disappointing Marton has resorted to these lower percentage, higher risk sort of points, shots that just aren't really on. Though he must feel that the longer the rally goes, the more opportunity for Federer to do something, change the dynamic of the point with one shot.

Millman’s strike zone was perfect against Fed. I don’t think Fucsovics will enjoy the same benefit. However, if the Fed FH keeps misfiring, Fucsovics can pile on the problems for Fed.

The Fed FH.

Fucsovics collapsed mentally after the first set. Plying without a clear plan or conviction ever since.

Federer is completely gassed right now. He wants to finish it off so badly.

You can see him heaving and acting out of character.

Kyrgios hit 33 aces and Khachanov hit 21 aces :)
Is only Rod Laver Arena slow?

Millman is the worst type of opponent: on the one hand, he’s not easy to put away. On the other, he’s not good enough to win any big title.

Facing Djokovic on such surface would be disaster for Fedr. Frankly he would struggle to win games given his form and this dead surface. Better lose in QF than getting slaughtered in Semis.

And Millman has only made one slam QF in his life :)
Not bad though I guess by Aussie standards, as Kyrgios has only made 2 slam QFs, and none since 2015ao.
