Roger saved tennis and ruined tennys.
Read "massacre". Unless Fed somehow recovers _and_ figures out some brilliant way to play Novak on this court. It's a close enough matchup when conditions are in his favour, here everything is to Djoko's advantage. I'd like to believe - and I'll never count him out - but I have zero expectations for the semi. If he is even fit to play it.Well at least if Novak manages to beat Ranoic we will get interesting SF
Sleep it off. The sun brings peace of mind.and that choke cost me all my money
so life is over
So he's gonna lose to Novak again. Big whoop. I have made peace with the idea that Fed will never figure out Djoker before he retires. His GOAThood is pretty much sinked, so what's there to lose?I’m not even angry just physically sick and speechless at what has happened to me today I feel like ending it all
Steamrolled and 5 sets seem to contradict each other ...He knows he's gonna get steamrolled in 5 sets by Novak.
The operative word is likely, so I will give Roger the benefit of doubt. I don't think Roger is homophobic
It's ridiculous that he has done that before ...
Yeah, we're a bunch of idiots.

Yeah I’m not sure I’ve ever actually wanted Fed to retire from a match before, but today I’m wondering what the hell he’s still doing out on that court.
damn man that sucksI betted all my money on
I betted all my money on nba and tennis and the 2 biggest chokes in basketball and tennis history happen in the same night to ruin my life
Of course withdrawals are generally better than retirements. If you have an injury and don’t think you can play bc of injury risk or that your level will be too low to win, you don’t start the match. Depending on the tournament a cancelled match sometimes allows fans to get a refund of their tickets as well. I really think if you can start a match, you can finish a match. Unless you tear your ACL or something like that. You don’t start a match and then retire when you are losing bc you have tennis elbow. Bottomline is that a mid-match retirement, unless it is a serious injury is a selfish and unsportsmanlike move.Sorry, but you would rather a player risk injuring themselves more to "earn the love of the fans"? They have different injuries, only they know if they can continue or not. Fed said he could continue, Novak decided he could not. I don't get why it's better to keep playing if you are injuring yourself further.
Btw, withdrawals are no better than retirements.
It’s gotta be exceedingly bizarre to grow up and slowly realize your dad is one of the best in history in a global sport like tennis. Like, even at 10 do they really get it?its crazy that they've more or less grown up in front of our eyes. iirc they are 10 now. i still remember a very pregnant mirka at wimbledon 2009 wondering how she didnt give birth right then and there and now we got multiple sets of twins, two of which are in double digits. crazy.
lmao nole's son has to be like 4/5 i think he has a daughter who i think is a toddler too.
Resigned to the inevitable, I changed to outdoor gear to take a walk to absorb this loss when Sandgren was leading 5-4 in the fourth set. Changed my clothes, grabbed my wallet, phone and keys, put on my socks and watched Federer staved off 3 matchpoints in that game and 3 more in the tie breaker. I sat with outdoor clothes for the entire match. Happy for the win but he will go down in the next round no matter who he faces. If lesser seeds and unseeded players like Millman, Fucsovics, and Sandgren are troubling him, I don't have any hopes of him winning against Raonic much less against Djoko. Fed fans must be thankful for the win and not expect much this thursday night.

I think it's his face. It's not a good friendly face really. It's the kind of face that people probably feel like doing a flying kick on.I'm really kidding, but I do find the hate that Tennys gets hilarious.
I like to believe whatever air fed has about him that he does try to keep them as grounded as possible. Like i think they are fully aware of who he is but maybe not stats. Though one of the funniest stories is when fed was collecting some award in 2017 at thr end of the year and told the girls they were like but wait isnt rafa no.1 or when he finally won ao 2017, they were like wow this trophy is big enough to eat soup like they crack me up. I love how unbothered they are most times, reading books etc while in the stands. Though lately they do look more into the matches. It’s gotta be exceedingly bizarre to grow up and slowly realize your dad is one of the best in history in a global sport like tennis. £150 on tennis and how much on the other? I'm sure you can easily earn back that money in a couple of days work, it's not a massive amount.I betted all my money on

Sandgren can rest easy knowing that he only lost about 350k USD after conversion
Fed retains his bizarre 15-0 record in AO QF's too...

(Sent from my mobile phone, apologies for typos!)
Fed saves 7 match points and you’re still negative lol. If 20 hasn’t been enough for you nothing will be .So he's gonna lose to Novak again. Big whoop. Bottom half (fedr vs MR/ND winner) is Thursday. The other SF is Friday.Semi is friday?
rwiseI'm pretty sure Fed fought hard to win because he believes he has a chance in the semis.
WrongFed saves 7 match points and you’re still negative lol. If 20 hasn’t been enough for you nothing will be .
Why do you torture yourself if you don’t even enjoy it?
There’s more to life than a mythical goat race
I'm really kidding, but I do find the hate that Tennys gets hilarious.
Wow,
73 winners and 53 unforced errors for Tennys
44 winners and 56 unforced errors for Fed
I'm sure that's what hurts him the most. For guys like that, it's the money. Crazy that he lost 500k 7 times essentially.
What's the most hilarious part about it?I'm really kidding, but I do find the hate that Tennys gets hilarious.
Haha neitherEither Fed wins really easily or this will be a really bad match.
Bigots are the real victims. To be fair if you hate him just bc he is homophobic that kind makes you not that different from him
Quality wise this wasn't great. It just had great drama.Haha neither
What's the most hilarious part about it?
Personally I think he was close to tears because he knows he has very little chance against Djokovic and almost no chance to win the tournament. That's just my take, I could be wrong.Idd. What do you think that was? Knowing he's pretty much out?
To be fair, equating those opposing bigots to the bigots themselves kind of makes you look bad.To be fair if you hate him just bc he is homophobic that kind makes you not that different from him
Federer might pull off the win if he pulls off this game.
Groin and legs as he said.
I'm still shocked.
Did he and Mirka enjoyed the milman win way too much for 4 days in a row or what????
tactical tank for sure
Tank mode fully engaged
LOL...Fed is seriously tanking!
Tennys actually won 1 more point than Roger:
Aces - Sandgren 27 / Federer 5
Winners - Sandgren 73 / Federer 44
Unforced errors - Sandgren 53 / Federer 56
Total points won - Sandgren 161 / Federer 160
