This match reminds me Berdych-Almagro in 2012.
I miss Almagro

there's been pretty high quality from both players. But mainly in their ability to hold their serve and come up with good stuff when it got just a bit close. Berdych has had 1 BP and Stan has had 4 or so. Essentially, both have been to weak on return/strong on serve to make it interesting - despite some pretty big and good shots and solid play from both players.
Almagro for 2014 RG SF!
He reminds me of Fernando Gonzalez a lot.Wawrinka is a man on a mission.
"Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better."
 (10lols).what a choker... imitating his best mate Almagro
Nonetheless, you have him beat for looks. You might consider adopting my white fro, tho.
Would you be able to send it to me? It's a bit nippy in fairness here at the moment, so I do feel the cold more.
No BPs yet, not even close. At this rate it's going to be an all-tiebreak affair.
I will make it so, just as I did for the equally bald Patrick Stewart.
Vamos!!!!! Great win for Stan and a great win for professional tennis!
Hopefully he can peak for the final tomorrow. This is an AMAZING run for Wawrinka!
He's reached a Major final and he's done it in style.
He'll have enough left in the tank too for the final methinks, physically and emotionally, but how about tactically...
Nole played great tennis against Wawrinka but it just wasn't enough. His performance tonight supports that fact.A win like this further illustrates your theory that we only need look at Nole's result here as 'playing a bad match'. Sometimes a player just gets hot and it's fitting that the slayer of the Australian Open king has reached the final in the end too.
Hopefully he can peak for the final tomorrow.
