Feds AO 2017 was impressive. But he got a little lucky there. Wasn’t Nadal up a break? The Wimbledon run was meh. Djokers was pretty good but Nadal was very off form in the final in 2019. It’s a draw LOL

Damn, so when somebody comes down from being broken in a match it’s just luck? Tough life to be a tennis player. Isner real moral GOAT confirmed?

Difficult to rank and controversial I guess. I suspect I might rank some of these differently if I ranked them again, even next week. I've put gaps where I think there's a noticeable gap between levels/competition.

If Nadal had collapsed it would've been luck. But Federer went out and stole the 5th from him with the most aggressive tennis he was capable of playing. He willed that win into existence.

Federer W 17’ doesn’t deserve to be at bottom of second tier? Didn’t drop a set

By the combination of 2, W 2018(due to best match or top2 for me) then AO 2017(most impressive win among all)
By level RG 2017 then W 2017 and AO 2019.
Least impressive ones: AO 2018 USO 2017 and USO 2018. It depends how much weight you put into the 2 factors thus didn't rank overall.

Would love to see the remaining of 2019 slams to be added, would be more competitive comparison.

Well it was a high level. But his competition was pretty poor. Berdych was decent, that's about it. Raonic and Dimitrov not too bad. Cilic was poor in the final. I would honestly put Federer 2003-2009 and maybe 2012 above 2017 as well. Whereas Nadal 2017 was maybe top 5 for him at RG. I'd put AO 2019 as top 5 for Djokovic too. RG 2018 wasn't top 5 for Nadal but this is Nadal at RG we're talking about; even a lower tier performance from him is an extremely high level

I think I would disagree but I can definitely respect the logic behind that.

Nadal in RG 2017 final was the one time when he really was back to his prime level. Had a slow start, but after the first 5 games he was unstoppable. All these arguments about "Wawrinka was tired, otherwise it would have been close" are just BS coming from haters. I don't see what any version of Wawrinka would be able to do against Nadal playing like this. He really tried.

The last 3 sets of USO 2017 semifinal were also GOAT level from him, but that also had to do with Del Potro's level dropping significantly.

I don't believe any version of Wawrinka would take a set from him including 2015.

Sorry, but that's total BS. 2015 Nadal hit 3 forehand winners in the 1/4 final. This is pathetic not for his RG standards, but for the standards of any top-100 player. Not to mention he was getting physically dead after a set and a half.

You misunderstood : ). I meant against 2017 Nadal. Although when you look at it that's probably the only Nadal version he could win.
