APD + vs PD +

I've played with both racquets and the PD+ definitely has more power than the APD+.

In my experiences, a racquet with a flexible hoop has less power than a racquet with a stiffer hoop.

you have it backwards.......the Pure Drive is set up for more control (stiffer hoop and GT thru the whole head).

the APD is designed to have more flex in the hoop (the GT only at 3 and 9) making it better to generate power and spin.

Both are notorious for causing arm problems

Sorry, but I have to disagree with you here. I've recently had the chance to play with these side by side again with the same strings and tension. Pure drive has way more power and a hair less spin potential.
