When will it be enough? Starting around the 13:00 mark, Tsitsipas’ father advices Stef to challenge a ball at 1-0, 30-40. The umpire calls game for Paire, but gives Stef the late challenge anyways, which he ends up winning, and instead of it being 1-1, he breaks for 2-0. On the changeover Paire tries to explain what happened, but gets no help from the umpire.

Similar incident later on. 6-3 4-1, break point for Paire which could switch momentum. An out ball goes un called, and this time it’s clearly obvious. Stef looks at his father, who tells him to challenge, which he does, and wins, averting the break point.

When will Stef’s father stop doing these things? When it comes to coaching violations, Stefanos is the biggest offender on tour. Almost every match he’s getting warned or soft warned over his fathers coaching tactics and antics.

Sure he coaches but I don't think he's helping him at all. More like, he's restraining his development. Also, players consult their boxes on challenges all the time. Not sure if it's allowed but I never saw any umpire make a warning for it.

Maybe Stefs father will stop when the lines people stop getting it wrong. Seriously though, Hawkeye live should be mandatory at all ATP level matches.

Toni Nadal made coaching from the box cool.

Others have been doing it too. Perhaps they would be embarrassed when pressed but Tio Toni said ‘I know but I don’t care’ and now the tennis world is like - yeah makes total sense.
