ala Stefan Edberg and Boris Becker?
I'm just curious.
hard to say straight serve and volleyers, but the closest you'll get is probably Emmett Egger, who hasn't been doing to well as of late, and Devin Britton, who won NCAA's. It's interesting to see how other juniors will adapt to his game.
i know this one guy who's 6'8 but only 15, he s&v all the time.
but he isn't nationally ranked
I play serve & volley when i feel that's the right strategy. I was playing baseline basher and when my first serve was in i rushed the net and easily ended points with a backhand volley. Otherwise i only use it sometimes to win some cheap points.
i usually like to serve and volley, but sometimes rally from the baseline.
theres this one kid conner farren who serves and volleys 1st and 2nd serves. he is only 14 i believe but has a strong 18s ranking
I do it as my first stratagy and i know a lot of kids in my section who do it too
Garret Dunn. 6'8" kid ranked around 100 nationally. Going to Iowa next year, but technically still a junior. Serve/Volley perhaps 90% of 1st serves and 75% of 2nd serves.
joseph van meter
connor farren does not serve and volley on first and second serves he stays back and he sometimes comes in off a serve.
these are just a few, quite a bit IMO compared to other nations
ryan harrison comes in not regularly off the serve only occansionaly to surprise the opponent and because he has very good volleys
Another vote for Van Meter
The player who won the NY State champs over Kandath, Daniel Kreyman, is a serve and volleyer. Ranked around 60 I think, going to wake forest.
^^^ I watched the match, he didn't serve and volley throughout the match. I wouldn't label him a serve and volleyer, rather someone who comes in when necessary.
garret dunn for sure....
i serve and volley a lot
i like it when it is the right time to come in. otherwise ill like my center control of court strategy and move the ball around.
sarmiento also comes in sometimes off the serve
Only kid i know is Nico Lunardi
Eh, every article I read labeled him as a serve and volleyer. Oops
oh thats wierd. when i saw him play he was S&V alot.
Na connor farren doesnt really serve and volley that much. He was probably playing somebody who was much worse than him
I am too...
