As a Federer and Nadal fan, I will always be grateful for them two. Tennis is a big part of my life and I started watching and playing because of them. Wimbledon 2008 was the first tournament I watched as a child and, of course, I was very spoilt. I thought the standard of tennis was always like this but clearly that's not the case.

I respect Djokovic but I'm not really a fan of his as such. It's just my opinion, but his playing style is not appealing to me. The style of getting everything back and waiting for the opponent to miss isn't something I can watch with big excitement. Federer and Nadal are very attacking in their respective ways, far more exciting to watch (for me).

Again this is my opinion, but Djokovic's exciting matches have only come when the other player's style is exciting to watch. His matches against Federer, Nadal, Thiem, Wawrinka for example.

So, for me I will always be a Federer and Nadal fan only, with the utmost respect for Djokovic.

Agassi fan 1995-06r, Fed fan from 2001-present, Novak fan from 2011-present

I think once a player retires you're a different kind of fan since they are only playing on seniors circuit or exhibitions and therefore not truly competitive.

Wait, Wimbledon 2008 was the first tournament you watched as a child? I'm sure this is some kind of revision of the lore.

Personally I would be a fan of Djokovic if he had created an event the caliber of Wimbledon 2007, Wimbledon 2008, Australian Open 2009. Do you think he has done so?

'Djokovic's gamestyle is that he waits for his opponents to miss'

I'm sure as a Federer and Nadal fan you switched off the TV whenever they played and got spanked by Djokovic

Djokovic has a boring playing style because his focus is ultra efficient. His mentality is just ridiculous and how he immediately responds to losing a set is impressive to see - the 3 gear shift change.

Federer is flamboyant and effortless and that’s why he is my no1.

But I respect them all

The clue is in the avatar.
Yes, Terrible Ivan is definitely a Fed fan. Worshipful, adoring, well-balanced and impartial. His avi is so handsome too!

To be honest I'll decide after US Open and the next RG in what measure I do like them. I will have a clear vision. Before I was mostly Fedal fan and then fell in love with IDEMO out of this world Novak after RG but now I'm not so sure again! Kind of rooted for Novak to be like Phelps and beat all the records so that's why I'm hesitant. Because it didn't happen. All I know is that I wish Rafa was healthy and played more often and didn't lose RG.

Nadal only but have a huge amount of respect for Djokovic and what he has achieved.

I can appreciate what Fed has done in terms of transcending the sport and is the clear third greatest of all time but I maintain that much of his current statistical position is an illusion.

As a Djokovic and Nadal fan, it has been a privilege to watch these two legends play. Their dominance together at the top of the game took tennis to another level of physical prowess and mental tenacity. Their 2012 Australian Open final was the greatest match of all time, with insane shotmaking, unrelentingly high quality, and both players showing a willingness to suffer as much as it took to win the title. It was an incredible experience to see Djokovic fight to his absolute limit and triumph over his great nemesis, especially after his brave performance in defeat at the US Open 2010 final.
Even though Federer still owns so many records and dominated the longest, Nadal and Djokovic will always have a special place in my heart because they made tennis worth watching for me.

I like Federer's game and his personality.

I like Nadal's personality, but not his game.

I like Djokovic's game, but not his personality.
I like all their personalities. I even like all their games to an extent. The reason I chose Nole over Roger is because I just didn't like how damn unbreakable Fedr was in his prime.

Federer and Djokovic fan - love watching Federer's effortless and graceful style of tennis, Djokovic's mental toughness is just unreal, really enjoyed watching some of the epic tussles in slams between Federer and Djokovic over the years (FO2011, USO2011, W2014, W2019).

Not a fan of Nadal due to his OCD rituals and how he is so slow not only between points, but also between 1st and 2nd serves, just get on with it already.

Djokovic's ball bouncing before he hits his serve on big points is also irritating but I prefer that over Nadal's OCD rituals and slowness.

Federer first, but after a few years of dominance I got a kick out of seeing Nadal beat him and was more of a fan of Nadal for the next few years but then I came back around to Federer again. Have never been a particular fan of Djokovic (other than maybe his run to the final at USO '07, that was sort of a fun, feel good story at the time) , but have never outright hated him or anything.

Australian Open 2012, French Open 2013, Wimbledon 2018 - these types of matches were special beyond measure.

Their 2019 Wimbledon final was the greatest match of all time, with insane shot making, unrelentingly high quality, and both players showing a willingness to suffer as much as it took to win the title. The pure amazement of how Federer fires a forehand just for Djokovic to slide and return it greatly with his backhand is some of the best shot making I have ever seen. It was also an incredible experience to see Djokovic fight to his absolute limit and triumph over his great nemesis after being 2 match points down.

A fan of these 3 is incomplete without the other 2. I don't think anyone else can bring their game to the limit, only these 3.

The Bercy 2018 was a huge surprise. Federer was underwhelming since he lost in the IW finals until Bercy. Novak was dominating apart from his loss to Sisyphus. Out of no one's expectations, Federer plays an epic 3 setter and bring Djokovic's game to limit at 37 years age.
