This was also mostly before mainstream basketball, hockey, football and alternative.

Tennis is more of a niche now than in 1950.

I remember when the future of tennis was people like Rusedski and Philippoussis. When Roddicl appeared I thought he was that future which was predicted in the late 90s. As we all know, predictions were wrong.

Let's hope the prediction that tennis is about to do the dead is also wrong. The overwhelming preponderance of evidence needs vaporising.

That’s because you’ve witnessed the big 3 era. You’re sad because it also means your era is gone too.
For new generation your big 3 won’t mean anything but just old guys in tennis history. They will be excited about whoever is playing now or in 5 years 10 years down the track. We tend to think our time was the real one. Hurts to know we’re all temporary here
