As a Fed fan, Djokers greatness just helps Fed

So if you are knowledgeable about tennis and not bias, you should see that Djoker has or is going to end as the greatest.

But you should not be salty as a Fed fan, you should embrace it.

This is what Fed has done to the greatest...

Beat Djoker 24 times. (That is a lot of times to beat the greatest)
Beat him at AO (Djoker best ever there).
Beat him at USO.
Beat him at WC.
Beat him 3 times at ATP finals.
Beat him at the FO.
Beat him in 6 finals.
Still has more WC titles.
Had more consecutive weeks at #1.
At 38 he tied Djoker at WC.

Sure he might not be better, but Djokers success helps Fed look even better.

Take it in stride Fed fans.

Ive been down about Fed lately but after realising Queens club Tennis is on all week and reading your post this Brit is officially back on track. I will dance like this if Fed can get just one more Wimbledon

I dont agree at all
I think not old Federer schould be the big rival of Djikovic, but a youngstar...

Roger's greatness is Borg like , just that it is 10x of Borg. He will always be considered as having transcended the sport , irrespective of the final count.

This is something a lot of people don’t grasp and/or overlook:

No matter what happens with either guy from here on out, the worst that can be said of either is that they were basically equal tennis players.

I mean cmon, Federer played Djokovic to basically a tie at Wimbledon at age what 37/38? That’s INSANE. If Djokovic is the GOAT, what does that say about Fed?

Also, Federer was really damn good in his twilight and Djokovic hasn’t even reached those yearsyet. Just because Fed lost a bunch of slams to Djoker in his mid/later 30s doesn’t erase the fact that he was in those slam finals, grave Djoker a serious challenge and was the second best player at that age!

Quite true. He outplayed Djoko for 5 sets at nearly 38 only to give it away. Also, see signsture.

Are you kidding?

- he beat Djoko 23 times of which 13 (the vast majority) happened before Djoko made it to #1 in 2011
- he beat Djoko at AO in 2007 when Djoko was a teenager and before Djoko won his first tier 1 event. Since then Djoko has destroyed Fed at AO all 4 times they've played.
- Fed beat Djoko at USO the first 3 times they met, once again before Djoko's big breakthrough. Since then, Djoko is 3-0 vs Fed
- what the hell is WC ?
- Fed has had a couple wins vs Djoko at WTF but never in a final. Djoko is 3-0 vs Fed in WTF finals. Actually for one of those finals, Fed got so scared that he ran away right before the match (This year's RG shows how much chickening out is in Fed's DNA btw , cluck cluck)
- Talking about the FO, looooooool. Djoko didn't waste time and took his revenge vs Fed the next year. In the meantime, Djoko beat Nadal twice at MC, 3 times in Rome, once in Madrid and twice at RG while Fed is still scratching his head and messing up his notes on how to beat Nadal in MC, Rome and RG (actually scratch that, he's just decided to give up clay altogether, gotta be fresh for grass you know, cluck cluck)
- Hum, the last time Fed beat Djoko in a slam final was USO 2007, you know, Djoko's 1st slam final ever? (Heck Fed can't even beat Djoko in his fav slam's final with 2 match points on his own serve :p) Since 2007, Djoko has beaten Fed in 13 finals (but hey Fed will always have Dubai :giggle:)
- More consecutive weeks with fewer weeks total + fewer year ends at #1 doesn't hold water but I do agree Fed deserves a consolation prize
- Fed sure is hot at WC ! (What is that again? ;))

No, Fed's main claim to fame will be beating Nadal silly in the latest stage of their respective careers: 7 - 1 Fed in their last encounters with the only loss coming at RG - surprise, surprise- and even including best of 5 (gasp), despite the age difference. The pigeon finally strikes back with 2 particularly tasty "vengeance is a dish better served cold" moments at AO and Wimby.

Fed is a bum. So Djokovic deserves no credit for beating a bum. So Djokovic cannot be anything other than a mediocre player at best himself.

Right here Djoker fans. This is the problem.
No, it's not a problem at all. You presented your case. Djok's fan presented his. We all know both perspectives. You admitted Djok is the GOAT but tried to miaximise Fedr's contribution against Djok so he looks better. The other guy will take your admission that Djok is the GOAT but wants to present a fairer (from his angle) perspective based on facts too. There is nothing problematic. The conclusion is - Djok is the UNDISPUTED GOAT with Fedr taking the 2nd place. The rest does not matter. I'd personally put Nadl as 2nd but really it does not bother me at all if he is 3rd.

Uhhhh present a case?

There was no case or side to be had here. It is not an argument.

He can’t be the greatest. No body likes him.

When will these blatant lies stop. Novak has millions of fans - more than enough, and that number keeps rising.
Tennis is not Big Brother contest, Kardashians reality show or sth, that popularity decides the winner, but who plays sport the best.

Sharapova or Kournikova even might have been more popular than Serena at some point - doesn' make them women's GOAT. LOL.
