Ascics Speed 2 Issues

When I tried the Asics Solution Speed 2 on a hard court, my arches were aching. Perhaps it was my thick Cadence insole? Has anyone tried third party insoles with the shoe? The stock insoles seem kind of cheap. I also have a wide foot which can possibly make my foot feel cramped if the insoles or socks are too thick.

Thanks in advance.

Give it a couple of sessions for your feet to adjust to the shoe. I have the same problem when I switch from a different model.

As was said give them a little time they're a different for to me then every other tennis shoe I've worn. I have very picky feet with a history of plantar fasciitis and these are the best shoes I've worn in the "speed" category.

I'd recommend thick socks to break in shoes especially but overall as well for tennis. Good luck and I assure you once you break them in they'll be amazing.

Thank you both for your advice. It turns out that my insoles were too thick. I bought superfeet carbon insoles, which are low profile. My feet are happy again.
