Has anyone had issues with Asics issuing them a warranty voucher for gel resolution 8s? I'm on my 4th pair of Gel Resolution 8s directly from Asics. My 6 months was up and I submitted my claim only to be denied. Asics reps stated that they no longer honor the outsole warranty anymore. Two emails back to back verbatim said that. I was shocked because it wasnt my first time submitting a claim. I've been back and forth on calls and emails and nothing has worked. I got an email from a supervisor stating the same thing.
"Good Evening Jonathan,
As stated at https://www.asics.com/us/en-us/warranty-form/ it is up to ASICS to determine if there is a manufacturing defect in our products. As we design and manufacture our products, we are able to determine if the issue a customer is having is a result of the manufacturing of the product or not a result of the manufacturing of the product. We replace products that are defective as stated in our warranty, and do not provide replacements for products that do not meet the criteria of having a manufacturing defect.
Multiple supervisors and product specialists have reviewed your claim and confirmed there is not a defect present in this product. We do understand that a denied warranty claim is not the preferred result of a submitted warranty claim, though we based the determination on whether or not the shoes is defective, as the warranty covers manufacturing defects and not dissatisfaction with what is perceived as a defect with the product. This claim determination has been confirmed and will not be reviewed further.
If you have any further questions, you may reply to this email or call us at 855-233-3120. We are here to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Sincerely,

My last email I got after stating I wasn't submitting for a defect was this.
"Good Evening Jonathan,
Thank you for contacting ASICS regarding your (insert summary of customer concern).
Our 6-month outsole warranty on our tennis shoes was discontinued in December of 2020. Throughout 2021 we continued to honor this program for customers who purchased items while it was still offered. We stopped advertising this offer in 2020, if you purchased from a third party and they advertised a 6-month outsole warranty at the time of purchase you will need to go back to that third party as that is something they are offering and not something we are offering.
If you have any further questions, you may reply to this email or call us at 855-233-3120. We are here to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We appreciate your loyalty to ASICS and thank you for reaching out to us.
Sincerely,"
I know if you buy from other retailers they still honor the 6 month warranty but directly from Asics, apparently you don't get squat... I love my gel resolution 8s, especially because of the stability I get from these shoes due to my weak ankle. I want to switch over to the 9s but now with this issue, I don't know what I'm going to do.
