ASICS COURT FF2 Novak discontinued?

I emailed TW sales to inquire about future shipment of the FF2 Novak, and I got this response from them:

According to our records, the ASICS Court FF 2 Novak Mens Shoe is sold out and we are unable to order any more from the manufacturer at this time, as they have been discontinued. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause.

Are they coming out with a new generation of the shoe?

ya there's a whole thread on it. it said asics supply lines are the most backed up for this model vs other shoemakers apparently. not sure. I think it looks ugly imo but I'm in the minority. ff3 probably would be better in a brighter color.

Asics Court FF3

I like the new look better than the FF2s, though @JGads observation about the elf toe is a good one — that's an odd looking shape. My local retailer tells me Asics are pausing production of tennis shoes for at least 6 months, so I don't expect to be trying these on any time soon anyway.
