I buy Asics running shoes all of the time and have always bought 9.5

Do the Challenger 12 tennis shoes fit true to size compared to typical running shoes?

Apologies for the delay. I was not familiar with Asics running shoes and was waiting to hear back from our sister company, Running Warehouse for a fit comparison.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks,
Brittany, TW

Hi Brittany,

Can you comment on the forefoot width of the Gel Challenger 12? I was a Gel Res 7 user but quit those shoes as they gave me problems with pinky toe rubbing and blisters constantly. For reference, I moved to Mizuno Wave Exceed Tour 4 and they fit me well in the forefoot (but are not so well made imo). Would I likely be able to use the Challengers without the same problems as with the GR7?

LeatherBlade,

I would say the Challenger 12 forefoot width is wider than both the Gel Res 7 and Mizuno. While I still wouldn't describe them as roomy or wide, the soft uppers definitely are more comfortable.

Thanks,
Brittany, TW
