I only managed to get the right on and without socks. Forefoot is fine but I could not get the shoe on at all with socks

Did you order a size down? I ordered my normal size, and haven't had any trouble getting them on. I was even able to get them on while wearing an Achilles brace (although that was tight); however, I do have relatively narrow feet.
I have narrow feet. I'm glad I ordered my FF's a half size down. They do loosen up.

They go on easily with a shoehorn and 1/2 size down from my GSS2s, there's a lot of room, for me, in the forefoot.

I got my normal size 10.5 but i have wide feet and a high top of the foot so this design just didn’t work for me at all

that's too bad, I got my normal 10.5 size as well and these shoes are perfect for my foot, ankle, etc. I can slide them on without issue. They are a little long so I wear thick thorlo socks or Nike Elite's to take up the little extra length.

Yeah, looks like a great fit for stability and speed as long as you can get your foot in.

I went 1/2 size down to 11.5. Normally a 12 in Vapor 9.5 and the length is exactly the same on the 2 shoes if you stand them both on end. I have a medium width foot and the comfort of the upper is great for me.
They are hard to get on, but seem to get a little easier each time. Last Gel Res I wore was the 4 and haven't been to court yet, but just wearing them around the house, trying to break them in, the comfort of the midsole seems more firm and less mushy than the Gel Res 4. Also the flexibility at the ball of my foot is noticeably better than either Gel Res or Vapor, which is something I was looking for...so happy about that.

On court (indoor hardcourt) the comfort of the Flytefoam is much more noticeable. Not as springy as boost, but just the perfect amount of responsive cushioning. Really absorbed shock well.
Never have been a fan of the memory foam ankle and heel padding, but might be worth the trade off.

maybe Nike will compete with these 2 elite type of cushioning by putting in their new REACT cushioning in their Vapor ? BOOST was great but it makes the shoes too heavy.
Yes, the cushioning on the Gel Court FF is really good for such as light shoe. It's one of the best features of this shoe. It's much better than the cushioning on the Gel Res shoes.

Been trying to put my finger on the difference between Flytefoam and other tech and I think the difference maker is the even-ness of the cushioning. It really feels like my weight is evenly distributed across the entire footbed, but without being mushy or feeling like you are sinking into quicksand.
Then when I took the shoes off after I played, my feet didn't feel sore or fatigued...which was a very, very odd feeling. Have literally never felt that before with Vapors, Barricades, Gel Res, Diadoras, etc.
They feel a little higher off the ground than Vapors, which will take some getting used to, but so far am really happy that the rave reviews don't appear to have been exaggerated.
I wonder if this was intentional to fit a larger range of feet? On my feet, they are slightly longer then normal, but the shoes grip my ankles so well, that it doesn't matter. I also am able to get them on without too much trouble (slightly narrow feet).

Three some clay court stuff coming for fall I believe. Interested to see how the usage of Flyte Foam changes the Solution Speed when it becomes the Solution FF in the fall
Got to try them on a couple of weeks ago. Nice looking shoe. Possibly due to the fact I wear custom orthotics with one of them built up a bit to mitigate a leg length discrepancy, I could not get these shoes on. They were very narrow. I would probably be all over them if they came in a wide, but I had to pass seeing what they were like on my feet. If you tend to need a wider shoe, make sure to try on before buying. Even going up a size didn't help.

My experience is with the GR6 and the Court FF, but the GR7 only has subtle changes to the GR6 like a TPU wrap and lower heel counter. The GR6/7 will easily outlast the Court FF. They both feel pretty light to me and the GR6/7 might even have the slight edge in changing directions. Having said that, the Court FF is easily my favorite. My knees were sore with the GR6, and I can't run fast if I have sore knees. The lack of impact protection and the heel slippage were the 2 things I didn't like about the GR6, and the cushioning is no different on the GR7. I don't know if it's the FlyteFoam or the extra Gel, but whatever it is, the Court FF is much better in terms of impact protection, and the bootie construction gives you a more secure fit and no heel slippage for me.

So the SPEED FFs are a lighter version of the COURT FFs without the Gel in the heel then.

I think another difference worth mentioning is the bootie construction of the Court FF. I love it! It makes the fit more form fitting and secure. There is virtually no heel slip with the Court FF, even if your shoe laces get untied. You might have to remind yourself to look down so you don't play a whole set with untied shoelaces! The only negative here is it makes the shoe harder to get on, but the benefits for me far outweigh that.
I tried the Covfefes at the Asics store. They do run long so I tried them a size down and they really wrap tight around the foot which was something I was not used to. I didn't end up getting it. Do you forget it about it when you play?

The Court FF's do feel like a running shoe, which can be good and bad. It's good because my knees like it (they didn't like the Gel Res), but it doesn't feel quite as stable as the Gel Res to me. However, it's stable enough for Goffin and it's definitely stable enough for me.
I have narrow feet, so naturally I went down a half size and it was perfect. I like the way the inner bootie wraps around my feet. It feels secure. In another thread, it appears that some people sized down while other chose to stay with their true size because of how tight it already felt.

It should also be noted that the SPEED FF has a semi booty construction as the tongue is molded to a sleeve inside the shoe. Not as pronounced as the sleeve that envelops your foot in the Court FF but still different from the traditional speed series.
I use the double Eyelets Holes at the top of the Speed FF and I have and I have no heal slippage at all in that shoe either. In addition the Speed is is much lighter than the Court with very similar cushion.
The SPEED FF is also more true to size.

They do run a half size long and they are hard to put on. They also tend to squeeze on the top of your foot in the base of your Achilles’ heel when you play. Not quite “uncomfortable” but enough to notice it.

This Asic court FF shoes,, if you use Custom orthotic insert made by the doctor like Novak uses and many people use, can this shoe still work after inserting one of these thicker inserts ? would it be too tight afterwards or just too tough to put in the inserts ?

I tried a superfeet green and it didn't fit well for me. Thankfully, the snug fit bootie provides enough support that I haven't had to wear an orthotic.

that might be a problem. I have custom made orthotic by podiatrist for plantar fasciitis and I have to have these in there otherwise I risk serious injury

Right,,, I had to return mine. my orthotic insert would go in the shoe but it was causing room In the shoe to be very very small and my feet was very cramped. Asic FF shoes just didn't have enough room after I put in my Orthotic shoe insert. Nike air zoom shoe is also hard to get into but oddly it seem to have more room in the shoes once I do get into it. That one might be ok with my Shoe Inserts in there.

What is your feedback about the court FF after 6+ months?Do the last long and how s the outsole?Do they loosen up (for those who chosen a half size down).Is it still a good shoe for back and knees pain, or its getting harder in use?I just bought a mizuno wave exceed 2 (all my weist back problems got away) but i m thinking of another pair stable light with good cushioning.I have not put on these court ff yet , but its in my plans...
