Will a TW review be performed? If so, when it will if be published?

Will this shoes eventually be offered in other colors?

Will this shoe eventually be offered with clay court outsole?

Thanks

pennc94,

Yes, we are planning on doing a review. However, we currently have a long list of shoes we are playtesting so it will be a couple months before we complete the review.

There will be two more colors launching throughout this year that I am aware of (August) and it looks like there will not be a clay specific version.

Thanks,
Brittany, TW

I've never had other asics shoes. But I've played Nike Vapor 9.5 Tours for a while and really liked the balance of weight, looks, and support. These shoes are definitely a step above those. The sock liner is a bit odd at first, but you quickly forget about them and just play. I've never had any discomfort in theseshoes, and they feel incredibly nimble. The traction and support are top notch, and I think they look much better in real life...than in digital pictures. The price tag is steep, and I got a bit of a deal luckily...but I see what Nike charges for some of its shoes now and I'm guessing these would blow those out of the water. My only warning is to be cautious if you have a wide toe box. The sock liner makes these shoes a bit difficult to get on...and I have narrow feet. Wide feet may actually struggle to get them on. I ranked a few attributes in the feedback portion of the shoe on TW if you want to take a look. My advice is if you've liked asics shoes in the past, you will probably love these. I can't imagine wearing a different shoe after playing in them.

Do you have any details of future colors? Hopefully popularity of the Court FF grows and Asics expands the line. These are the best tennis shoes I have ever played.

There looks to be two more colorways launch in August in a grey/green and red/navy color combos.

My wife and I have been wearing these for a few months now and agree they are the best tennis shoes either of us has worn. That said, I would still be interested to read the TW playtesters' review. Any timeframe for a writeup?

392Hemi,

Yes, we started the playtest about a week ago. With a very busy July, we are about a month out from shooting that review. But the playtesters can give you some initial feedback by the beginning of next week if you would like. So far, they are loving it!

Thanks,

Care to elaborate? Have you used other asics shoes? How do they compare?

I've used Vapor 9.5, Asics gel6 and gel7, the gel7's were the best, most comfortable of the bunch....

....until the the day I put on the FF's.
Most comfortable shoe I've ever worn.

I didn't want to believe it, but after hearing alllll of you rave about this shoe (the Customer Feedback on the FF is AMAZING!), I had to get my feet in a pair! Chris and I actually grabbed a pair of the Dynaflyte FF running shoes which have the same cushioning and are so soft and comfy, but I wasn't sure how that cushioning would translate to a court shoe.

I got my pair of FFs last week and literally haven't taken them off. I have been wearing them everywhere beyond the court. And I agree, they are legit! Honestly, ANYONE having issues with the Speed 3s (I know the women have had some fit issues) should definitely give the Court FF a go. They are soft, supportive, quick, comfortable -- I am loving them. I feel super secure in my movement, the stability is great and they are still explosive.

Regarding sizing for the ladies -- since they are men's sizing, I normally would size down a full size and a half, however, I thought they ran a bit long and went down two full sizes and am having no issues.

Just my two cents :)

Don't wear them in the shower ;)

My wife is one who cannot wear the SS3. She got the FF 1 1/2 sizes down from the men's sizing and the fit is great for her, so YMMV. I rotate the FFs with SS, true to size on both.

Hoping the new colorways in August are tasteful and not the sometimes Asics abominations as I will be looking for another pair (or 2)

DJ-,

We found the FFs to run a little bit long. Several playtesters went down a half size and playtesters that are in between sizes went for the smaller size.

Thanks,
Brittany, TW

Cheers Brittany, usually a 12 in GR6's, might have to go 1/2 down as you guys are %99.9 spot on with sizing. Looking forward to the reviews.... customer feedback is very positive....

There will not be a clay version releasing this year. The other colorway launching besides the grey/green will be a red/navy.

Thanks,
Brittany, TW

@329Hemi

We haven't seen it yet, but we think it's more navy than red. Think the current color just replace the fluo yellow with red ;) But we will see...it's due for the US Open!

We haven't gotten the grey ones yet but they are coming!

Michelle, TW

Sounds perfect.. I was hoping they would be mostly blue with red trim. The red GR7 are nice but red is not usually my first (or 2nd) choice for shoes

Thanks again Michelle

Thanks for the recommendations, spot on as usual, got my FF courts in 1/2 size less than gr6's and they are perfect. No shoe horn needed, just loosen the laces a bit and you are good to go for a snug fit. So far played on clay and artificial grass and they are fantastic!

OK. Plunked down the money on the Red/White/Blue stars and strips version. These are great shoes. Have ALWAYS worn Adidas or K-Swiss and these are undisputedly the BEST TENNIS SHOE on the market. Now,if I could just avoid looking at them. Give us White Asics. I know you have that color somewhere in the warehouse.

I currently wear Addidas Barricade Boost. Anyone make the transition from those to the Court FF? Would love to know the differences I can expect...
