I found that many people were talking about the new Asics Gel Resolutions but nobody actually posted a couple of pictures or the technology that it has:

-Impact Guidance System (I.G.S.®)
Linked componentry that enhances the foot’s natural gait from heel strike to toe-off

-Solyte® Midsole Material
Lighter than ASICS’ standard EVA and SpEVA®, combined with improved cushioning and durability

-GEL® Cushioning System
Attenuates shock during impact phase

-Biomorphic Fit ® Upper
Provides a superior fit and function

-PHF® (Personal Heel Fit)
Memory foam lined heel collar molds to athlete’s heel, creating personalized fit

-PGuard™ Toe Protector
Enhanced toe durability

I just got my pair of these in the mail today. I have done a lot of research and these are the only shoes where I didn't see any negative feedback from people who have bought them. I went with the flashy blue color. I would order a half size larger than you usually get, I heard this from someone and then I found out when I got my first pair and they were a little snug, so I sent them back and am happy with the larger size. I can't really comment on how they perform since I've only worn them around the house but from everything I've read they are a great shoe.

Tell us about them when you try them!

Ive used Resolutions for a while, great shoe very comfortable, low to the ground so theyre very maneuverable, pretty light also, the only thing is they wear faster than others, but def worth it

Does anyone have the orange/white ones? I'm not as big a fan of the women's version and much prefer the orange ones :) I'll be looking to get a pair when my 1's wear out. It's actually taking longer than most people say on these boards and the feedback...I guess I don't drag my feet as much when I play.

I've had em for a while... posted a pic in the shoes thread. I love them, they're very comfortable and light. The arch support is pretty good but they run a bit big in sizing.

Here they are:

thanks for the pics, BestLefty UK! This is a nice looking shoe. Looking forward to the review. It seems several people have commented how these shoes feel a bit larger than the same size on the 1's. Could it be due to the more open toe box?

I have used every Nike Breathe version, and now am wearing the new Courtballistec 1.3's, but I don't wear socks with them because they run much more narrow in the toe box than the Breathe line did (Cage & free)...I am seriously thinking about getting these, after reading the feedback about them on TW and other sites. I need something more comfortable, since the Courtballistec's are "comfortable", but I don't think they are as supportive as I would like for as much fast lateral movement as I like to do, and the narrow toe box not allowing me to wear socks are negating how awesome I find the style of them to be.

All Asics need to next is have a six month warranty and they will sell a lot of shoes. One way to attract the tennis community.

There are certain retailers online who offer a 6 month outsole guarantee for Asics tennis shoes. I bought the blue Resolution 2's from there a few weeks back and am loving them. I've been a barricade wearer since the IIs all those years back, and still love my Vs, but the Resolution is the first shoe I've owned that is both cushy and supportive.

Picked up the orange GR2's today.Soon as I tried them on at the store my feet were saying Ahhhhh.Had to pick them up.Tried on different models while I was there Misoul,CB's,NB 1004's these felt the best.Never had the GR1's only heard great things. No break in required felt like I can hit the courts with these right away.Lovin the padded tongue the cushioning rocks. What a shame I'm going to beat the crap out them.Costly though 170$ Canadian.I'll give a better review in three weeks when I actually use them.Walking around the house for two hours now still feelin sweet no trouble spots.Only dislike is the colour.

I've recently been looking into getting a pair of GR2's, but I'm not sure what size to order. Can anyone compare the fit of the GR2 to the Barricade V

does anybody know if the white parts of the white/orange version of this shoe start to darken and turn nasty black like the white barricade V's?
