Asics size

These sizes are perfect for me.
Decathlon US8 = EU 41
Adidas US8 = EU 41 1/3 = CM 26

For Asics, I know the general consent is "sizing up a half size from your casual shoe size". However for Asics:
US8 = EU 41.5 = CM 26
US8.5 = EU 42 = CM 26.5
What size should I get?

I wear exactly the same size US in both Adidas and Asics.
Some shoe models are slightly different and can feel a bit tight or loose in some area. But I can't imagine going half a size up or down, that would just feel wrong. I'd rather get a different shoe instead.

I wear US11 in most shoes or 29cm
I bought the solution speed ff2 in size 11. It was slightly shorter than others but the tag also said 28.5cm, so that's expected.
In my opinion Asics fit closer to a "true size" my foot is between 28.5-29cm. (I've measured)
But then it comes down to the model, the SS FF2 are narrow.
I'd pay attention to the centimeters and obviously try on if possible

Be careful guys

I should have indicated that these are the 2E version. Anyway, perhaps it warrants a try before buy.

You don't want to be wearing 2 bricks on your feet and slosh around but you want to get your foot into them with comfort.

Again our finding is actual size was the 2 bricks scenario and 1/2 size down was the way to go.

Down! First time heard so for Asics.

Come on guys...... It takes about 2 seconds to search on here.... Take a second to do that.

Here is one of several threads on this.

Here is the TW review that is what 3 years old if not more. 30 seconds in and then again at the end of the review they reference the sizing and going down 1/2 a size. It shouldn't be the first if you searched or better yet looked at the review on their web site that is attached to the shoe.

Again I would try before buy but we agree in 2E going 1/2 down is right. Your results may vary but it should not be the "first time" you heard this when the review is attached to the site where you can purchase the shoe.

I agree to be careful but if you check the review attached to the shoe. The one that has been there for 3 years and our findings concur with is this:

Why did you quote me? That above post has nothing to do with the quote I linked...
Sorry but from what I see your "Be Careful" reference in post #6 is in direct response to my post was it not?

But did you look at the post I linked to? Someone bought two GR8s and one was bigger than the other despite being BOTH US SIZE 9.

I was not commenting on if you should size up or down with Asics, rather that you can end up with the wrong size even if you size up, stay true, or size down. There is an inconsistency with the production of the shoes, and that people (not just you) in general need to "be careful"

Original post where he expressed this inconsistency after trying 6 pairs of the same model in the same size https://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/ind...s-8-back-in-stock.721321/page-2#post-16344783

Oops sorry, perhaps some explanation with your post would have been helpful or even as you indicate above not replying to my post would have made sense. Certainly you can see without the elaboration you just provided one could be confused as to what your response was meaning as all it was is a reply that included my text about going a 1/2 size down and "Be Careful Guys" with the link.

Anyway sorry for the confusion.

Okay I thought the post I linked was obvious enough but yes, I will admit I am definitely not a Hermes tier communicator

I am sorry about that. I am slow on the uptake.

I think we all agree the theme here is something is amiss here in the sizing and to confirm the fit before buying.

Otherwise, it is a great shoe for those looking for those things they are best at.

We have a ton of new ones in boxes and many more dead soldiers around the house.
