At 29 years old, Medvedev can become the youngest man ever to win all six hardcourt Masters 1000s!

Nobody did it before 30: -
Pete Sampras never won Canada or Stuttgart
- Rafael Nadal never won Miami or Bercy
- Andy Murray never won Indian Wells
- Andre Agassi won Madrid at 32
- Novak Djokovic won Cincy at 31
- Roger Federer won Bercy at 30
[Stuttgart = Madrid = Shanghai]

23-year-old Jannik Sinner is already just two Masters away (Indian Wells + Bercy), so that record could be shattered in the next few years...

If ever there was a player more deserving of an extra slam or two...

His hard court numbers are already borderline in the 'all-time great' category, if not already.

He must cry himself to sleep for the two AO fumbles from 2-0 up, Nadal and Sinner were both there for the taking, at that point.

Sadly, I think his slam winning days might be over.

Medvedev is deeply disrespected by Fedal fanatics just because his game came far after their guys , especially fedfans. He is legit threat on hc and reached 60% games winning % on hc for a year in 2021.

Very few guys do this.

There are other players more deserving of an extra slam than him

Heck, if he were to win Indian Wells, not only would he win all the Masters 1000 on hard, but he would reach 7 Masters 1000 wins out of the 9 that are being played, also adding the victory of Rome 2023.
In practice, in this scenario, he would be "only" missing Monte Carlo and Madrid to win them all at least once, a feat that let's remember that Fedal has not even managed to do, but only Djokovic.
A significant achievement, even if I doubt that he will ever win Monte Carlo and Madrid, or rather, maybe one of the two will (after all, he won Rome) but I would tend to exclude both.

He will lose to Sinner every time they play from now on
