My prediction:
Nadal FO 2023 (if he wins)

Djokovic
Probably after USO 2025 or 26
He will have destroyed slam record by then
No, a thousand times no.
Nadal will play at least until Paris 2024 and at most until RG 2025.
And the only thing that Djokovic is going to destroy is his body if he plays until the year you indicate.
After 2023, the Serbian wolf will never win another Major title.

Djokovic might retire shortly after he inevitably gets the slam record. Only in a scenario where Alcaraz looks like a threat for breaking Djokovic' record, would Djokovic be motivated enough to keep on playing.

I can't help but feel Nadal is very close to retirement, I'm not sure he'll finish any tournament in his career anymore. He will probably not play for the remainder of the year, and then quit RG 2023 during the tournament due to injury, and then we won't hear from him for a long time, until he ends up announcing he's retiring.

I think Nadal will retire next year as well. He just can’t stay fit more than a few weeks and he is becoming a dad very soon. That’s life changing so I don’t see him hanging around much longer.

Nadal will be at the French. Djokovic I suspect would be year end ATP WTF. That’s if he still has the ranking to qualify, else if he ends up like Sampras, then it would be at whichever is the last slam that he wins and then unexpectedly announce.

If Nadal is unable to win RG next year and the year after then he’ll definitely retire by 2025. And he won’t be retiring at RG. Most probably be in Madrid.

I think after a future uso. But this tennis god will not retire before he has the gs record comfortably in hand!

Maybe AO?
If they ever let him play? Could also see at Wimbledon if he breaks Fed’s record there…

i don't think he will have say in when he retires. it will be injuries or when he isn't competitive anymore. But since he won 2 slams this year and made semis of another I hope he has another year in him. i think having a child on the way he will pull the plug on his career faster now especially if he starts getting bounced early

Look for Nadal to hang it up at RG 2023, if he can make it that far. The way he’s been talking lately seems to indicate he’s very close to the end.

Djokovic I think will play 4-5 more years and end it at Wimbledon.

Very few players actually retire at a major (Agassi and Roddick are two of the only ones that come to mind). So odds are against it happening for Djokovic or Nadal either.

It certainly would be an insane case of karma if, after Roger's retirement, Rafa is unable to finish a single tournament.

Well, he's already retired at all four majors (as well as many other tournaments) so I guess he could try to round out the set of Masters 1000 in the upcoming seasons if he is a dedicated completionist.

What do you mean by that? Just a few days back, the king of spain gave him some prize, because he's a great ambassador of spain and a great role model or something like that. And in his speech, Nadal literally said "I hope this won't be misunderstood as my career being over. Quite the opposite, I intend to keep competing at the highest level".

Novak retiring at Belgrade when he's certain he can't win Wimbledon. He won't stick around for USO.

Nadal at Olympics 2024, Novak in 2025 in Belgrade (probably some farewell tournament, don't think he will retire after slam or master).
