Right now the USTA men's combo leagues are forming in Atlanta. For those who don't know, this is a great chance to play with friends, neighbors and associates who you might not ordinarily get to play league matches with. The total ratings of each doubles team cannot exceed 7.5 with no player being rated higher than 4.0.
The league plays 3 lines of doubles beginning at 6:45 on Monday evenings and runs from 4/14-5/26. As of now, there are only 4 teams signed up in the whole city (One north of the city in Roswell, one west of the city in Powder Springs, one in Dekalb County near Stonecrest and one in midtown, with no team being overly full). The way the league is currently situated, it is ideally suited for someone who works or lives near the perimeter who doesn't mind a bit of a drive to play tennis. If we can get more players/teams, travel times would obviously be reduced.
