gotta' get that worked out for next year, damn near ruined the day part of the tournament for me
I had no issue seeing the ball live in person. Watching Winston Salem on TC right now and can see the ball just fine on their blue court. The camera is at the south end there (as opposed to the north side like Cincinnati Center Court).

With this win (if you can call it that lol), Alcaraz claims three Masters titles in a single season for the first time. Also just reached 90% of matches won on the year (54-6). Now leads Sinner 6-2 on hard courts. Hard to draw any real conclusions here, but I'm sure Carlos will gladly take the points and the paycheck.

Holy crap. My mom came into my room to bring me a plate of chicken nuggets and I literally screamed at her and hit the plate of chicken nuggets out of her hand. She started yelling and swearing at me and I slammed the door on her. I'm so distressed right now I don't know what to do. I didn't mean to do that to my mom but I'm literally in shock from the results tonight. I feel like I'm going to explode. Why the hell is Sinner getting nearly bageled on HC by Charles? This can't be happening. I'm having a breakdown. I don't want to believe tennis is so corrupt. I want a future to believe in. I want Sinner to win the next 30 slams and surpass Djokovic. I cannot deal with this right now. It wasn't supposed to be like this, I thought he destroyed Alcaraz at Wimbledon and destroys him even worse on hard courts? This is so messed up
This is such a you story lol.

First time Raz wins a masters post Wimbledon.

To complete the set he only needs:
- Montreal
- Shanghai
- Paris
Insane what a short time it took him to get this far. I don't see a 'Novak and Cincy' situation developing here either. He might even do it before halfway into his career!

Carlos never convinced at Paris Bercy, that might be a tough one.

Rafa got 6/9 after Toronto 2008, but never got the missing pieces, Miami and Paris.

And Sinners Wimbledon title doesn't have an asterix?? He clearly should have lost to Dimitrov after being down 2 sets to 0 but only gets through to the next round due to Dimitrov retirement.

Sinner laid a beating on all his opponents after that match. Dimi might have lost against Shelton and certainly would have against Djokovic. Good thing Sinner got trough instead of that washed up grigolo.

One thing that will be inexcusable is if he goes through with the mixed doubles nonsense now after leaving people hanging in a masters final.

If he wanted to save himself for the USO that’s one thing. But he didn’t even finish a set. He has to skip the mixed doubles nonsense.

Now comes the cringe ceremony where Sinner gives his sob story then Alcaraz gives a 2 minute speech how amazing Sinner is and how he hopes he is fit for USO bla bla bla. Just let Alcaraz lift the trophy and be done with it.
You write that ending ? Good job.

Crazy to think that 2 years ago, in much more extreme conditions (over 40°C that day), a 36 years old Djokovic won the final against this same Alcaraz on this same court in Cincinnati. In an almost 4h match, with a crazy level of play from the first to the last point (arguably one of the best BO3 matches of all time)

Peak Zverev and prime Sinner can't even overcome 30°C and compete with Alcaraz in hot yet much cooler conditions.

Just lol.... Sorry for the negativity but it's the first thing that comes to my mind when I see this. Tomorrow I am gonna rewatch the 2023 final with popcorns.

I wonder if he can complete the golden Masters/Slam. Cincinnati was definitely one of the toughest challenges for Alcaraz, now it's done. Stil needs to win Canada, Shanghaï, Paris, ATP Finals and Australian Open. I don't have the answer but Cincinnati is a huge step.

Yeah he'll definitely take the points. The Race is still close right now. Sinner still leads the live ranking but Alcaraz has a gap in the Race to YE-#1. Those 400 points today could make a huge difference in the end. Even if Sinner wins the USO, he isn't overtaking him anytime soon in the 2025 Race. He'll need to win USO, Shanghaï and Turin again (and hope some missteps from Alcaraz) if he wants it.

Sinner winning the us open is far from being set in stone.

The people looking only at air temperature and not the *relative* humidity (and dew point) have never lived in a very hot and humid climate. Humidity makes a tremendous difference in terms of the body's ability to cool off (which occurs through sweat evaporating).
Exactly. Very good point. A lot of the times, humidity is even more draining than air temperature. No amount of air temperature makes me sweat as much as high humidity ughh

Yeah, as long as Alcaraz plays a decent level for the rest of the year, the YE#1 is his
