Who do you think wins in Rome?

Djokovic should just withdraw now. No sense it getting hurt over a masters. Only reason to play was just for a bit of clay experience against current Nadal.

Still think Nadal wins RG. BO5 is so different. Might give Djoker and Thiem a bit more belief though which is dangerous.

And playing RG in October will help Djokovic and others with conditions. And maybe a roof closure here and there. Strange year this 2020.

The little man was the last one on my list. Saw gim live exactly 8 days ago in Austria. He lost in straights against some so called Laslo Djere, and he prob would have lost against most Top 500 players. Today it was like a total different person

Diego always give Nadal tough match. It is because of his weak service he doesn't win very often. In order to win just a set against Nadal - he needs to break thrice. Tough task but he managed it today.

God damn, I just got up and was gonna tune in for Rafa's inevitable comeback and then he lost! Oh well, I guess Novak is going to get the outright lead for masters wins now...

my boy looked flabby and old out there

That’s how I see it too. Nadal still favourite but will be closer and Djokovic and Thiem have better chances this year. I hope Thiem goes in Nadal side

"Anything is possible. Who knows what tomorrow brings to any of us? However, it is highly unlikely. Do you think Fed and Nadal will be ready to roar without having played a match for months? Wasn't Nadal's last match in February?
Nadal will lose before the finals of even Rome, let alone RG."

Gotta pat myself on the back. Posted above on Tuesday. Right about Rome. RG to be determined.

This wasn’t real clay, the nighttime sessions are noticeably faster than the daytime ones. I would say it’s a poor indicator for RG but I’ll wait to see how roofed P.Chatrier plays.

I wonder what @Beckerserve thinks about this performance. Is there something not right in Nadal's game?
Serving at 35 per cent at pro level ends one way. Nadal did not play USO so if he says he is rusty that is his fault.
More worrying was his foot speed.
I said to @Hitman a few days ago Nadal will want big servers not the diegos and goffins in his draw.

Djokovic has No 36 Master 1000's on his racquet and pull ahead of Nadal,, lets see if he keeps his cool and does it ...

Cheers

Nadal lost to Fognini and Tsitsipas last year and still owned everybody at RG. Rafa is still the overwhelming favorite at RG. Today’s loss will give him information he needs to prepare better for #20
He was OWNED by the first player in his draw who can actually play long rallies. Omg, you are a real troll.
