That's why Roddick was looking like a clown today. Yep, FO sure is played on hard!

you are not the sharpest knife in the drawer that is for sure...

they call it sarcasm and your fellow nadal fans threads on the speed of FO are the reason for that remark!

It's ok,just don't let it happen again. We can't let those spineless Frenchies get away with what they did.

so... have we finally concluded it's the old Taraflex that ATP Spanish truth fighters got removed form the Paris masters?

Yay Melzer! Good to see him finally reach the 4th round of a Slam and taking out one of the big name players to do so.

No,it's a HC but if Nadal somehow against all odds triumphs this year expect it to be played on taraflex in 2011(in which case Nalbo or Kolja will win it).

but are we talking about rebound ace fast or plexicushion fast?

because we know this will show the level of mischief those cheese eating frogs have to try so bad to hurt El martir...

Ferrero is doing WELL.
I would expect that cool conditions make courts slow, thus doing the spanish a favour.

Almagro is doing fine too btw.

lets make up our minds shall we? the dont like hot conditions because it makes the courts fast? what is the excuse for the the cold ones?

The only solid claycourters in Spain are Nadal,Dasco,Ferrer,JCF and let's say montanes. Lopez is crap on clay and Almagro's game is built for fast surfaces. Robredo is a clown on all surfaces.

So, Almagro's game is built for fast surfaces, but he has done nothing on any other surface than clay. Robredo's best surface is clay. He's not a clown. He's admirable. He beats all the players he can beat, but just isn't good enough to beat top players, ever.

Yeah, yeah,Spain has crappy claycourters. That rings true.

Didn't kohli make a certain djokovic(nr.3 CC'er) look like a noob in RG?

Slams are different things than two outta threes. That doesn't change the fact that spaniards have solid claycourters and as a whole are the best clay nation in the world. Most clay titles(of whatever magnitude) in the last 20 years have gone to spaniards or southamericans.

Ferrer's best slam results have been in USO,SF not in RG where he has two QF. That alone should tell you that Ferrer is not great in Slams. But in a two outta three on clay he can beat most other guys except fedal. Same with dasco, who can beat soderling and djokovic one week and bow out to ferrer and melzer the next. Dasco never made it past 4th round in RG and has moved further in AO and USO oddly enough.

JCF is old cause else he is a very good CC'er. Lopez and Robredo are non-factors in most major tourneys they enter whatever surface. Garcia-Lopez and Montanes(who I saw in Bucharest) are good 250 guys, nothing more, nothing less. Almagro is weak in slams as a whole, his best results wherever is a QF in RG in 08'.

Nadal is the only premier CC'er among the spaniards. Then comes ferrer and verdasco but as a general rule these guys don't have the capacity to upset anyone in slams(on any surface),only in two outta threes. Then maybe JCF and Almagro and then Montanes/Garcia-Lopez with Feli and Robredo coming last.

Flipping back and forth. Hope Vikki can pull off the upset for me

No, no, this is a perfect example for what I was saying earlier. Watch in what manner he is going to lose this.

Bellucci is just a joke, Ljubo hasn't played anything the whole match, and that overrated overtanned Brazilian barely gets any momentum.

But... Verdasco is better on HC, Ferrer too. Plus Ferrero is past his prime.

Wait... so in fact only Nadal is a member of the armada?

Edit: lol, namelessone beat me to it. I hadn't even seen his answer.

I agree, sadly Djoker will win
My favorite top 5 player.
Yet nowhere near my favorite player.
