yeah, he's been great up there today, but yesterday he looked lost most of the time tbh.

He still looks awkward at the net but much better than a few months ago. He is also playing in the doubles event with his brother as the partner, who is one of the few pure serve and volleyer on the tour now, and that could've helped a lot as well.

That is like a practice session .

On the body, yes, but on the mind? How would losing effect him heading into the match tomorrow. It certainly didn't help losing in doubles the night before when he played Nadal earlier in the year. I forget the score, but it wasn't pretty.:oops::oops:

Worrying final opponent for Fed. The only guy alongside Kyrgios, Cilic and peak Djokovic showing up that I fear for Fed at Wimbledon.

That said, Fed should have enough serve game and experience to grind this one out.

Disagree that Fed's been awful. His % of net approaches won is impressive and he's generally been OK on serve. FH has been firing overall too.

Movement, BH and ROS have been sloppy must admit.

I want someone to put him in his place so that he knows he isn't the best player in the universe.
The thing I don't like about Zverev is the constant fist pumping, sort of in his opponents face. If Nadal wants to do that, he's earned that right by being an ATG. It is a little much for Z to be doing it almost after every point. I don't like this constant interactions with his box either. He should go out there, quietly do his job and let his racket do the talking. Hopefully he'll learn that.

Agree, he's cocky & rude. Hell of a game though.

I agree, Fed in 3. Tough, long match. Great preparation for Wimby. :):)
