Dimitrov easy 6-1 first set. Not challenged at all. Jordan too many unforced errors and Grigor firing on all cylinders.

Jordan just held to start set 2 but has been really talking to his box. Also had a trainer at the end of set 1 but not a MTO.

Opelka is playing great tennis but is having to redline. He “only” needs to do it for another set, but 2.5 hours of playing this well is a tough ask even for a player of Opelka’s calibre.

You can’t compare GMP with Opelka as a similar challenge to Djokovic. GMP is a great young player already and a great server but he is a relatively poor returner and won’t be able to get nearly the same traction in Novak’s service games as Opelka has.
