I third the motion...Allez Rogi!

Are there other "draws" for the warmups in Doha, Chennai, Auckland, Sydney? I'm interested what routes Thiem Gulbinator and Goffin plan.

Hitman will be there and hopefully give us a full account of what it was like.

Yes! I am there for two days, I am in Australia for New Year, and if the boys are in the same neighbour hood, then it would be rude not to meet them for a cup of tea. :)

Delpo would also be back with protected seeding

Updated field.

Q. What is a protected ranking and who is eligible?

A. A player may petition the Executive Chairman & President for an Entry Protection when he is physically injured and does not compete in any tennis event for a minimum period of six months. The written petition must be received within six months of his last tournament.

The Entry Protection shall be a position in the Emirates ATP Rankings, as determined by the player's average Emirates ATP Rankings position during the first three months of his injury. The Entry Protection shall be for entry into the main draw or qualifying competition or for special exempt consideration. The Entry Protection shall not be used for seeding purposes, Lucky Loser consideration or for entry into the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.

The Entry Protection shall be in effect for either the first nine tournaments that the player competes in using the Entry Protection (excluding wild cards and entries as a Direct Acceptance with his current position in the Emirates ATP Rankings) or for the period up to nine months beginning with the first tennis event that the player competes in, whichever occurs first.

If a player is physically injured and does not compete in any tennis event for a period of twelve (12) months or longer, the entry protection shall be in effect for the first twelve (12) singles tournaments and the first twelve (12) doubles tournaments that the player competes in using the entry protection (excluding wild cards and entries as a direct acceptance with his current position in the Emirates ATP Rankings) or for the period up to twelve (12) months beginning with the first tennis event, including Special Events – Exhibitions, that the player competes in, whichever occurs first.

Federer better win it this time. He's not in a position to give out free titles to veterans, he needs them himself (although he himself definitely won't agree with me)

I am going with the new stars - Dimitrov and Nishikori.

Does Del Po pretecting ranking means that he would be top 8 seed from Australia till Roland Garos?

No.Del Potro won`t be seeded. The protected ranking just helps the player to enter the tournaments;otherwise he would rely on wildcards or having to enter the qualifying.

I'd like to see if there is ever going to be 250 draw in 2015 that is as heavily stacked as this one!

Queens usually it is, now it would be a 500 event too. I think that with this change Djokovic probably would play one of the warm ups before Wimbledon.

What does it mean Bernard Tomic "Qld"? What happened to AUS?

Hewitt won't defend this title. I'm thinking Federer will win this time, against someone like Tomic in the final.

From the Murderer's Row lineup of this 250 tourney, looks like people are really working up with a vengeance for Aussie Open this year.

Chennai is also strong...Defending champ Wawa, RBA, Lopez, Goffin, Muller, Lu and former champion Tipsarevic, who gets a WC.

Going Tues and Wed night, Thurs and Fri day. Hope to see Fed twice. Shout out to anyone from here going those times.

Hoping for a cool Federer 250 win to open up the 2015 season. Wouldn't mind seeing Nishikori or Dimitrov win it either. Great lineup!

I think Nishikori or Cilic may play spoiler here, but hoping for Federer to win or a repeat from Hewitt.

Very strong field, and with the start of the year chaos and New Year hangover anyone could win it, but would go for Raonic here.

Just read that JMDP is gonna be a busy beaver Down Under...going back-to-back-to back by accepting a WC at Sydney. That's a lot of tennis after a long layoff, especially if he goes deep in the draws.

Nadal and Djokovic are playing Doha.
That's fine. IMHO Brisbane has a better overall field.

If any of the players visit Australia Zoo, better be nice to Charlie:

And don't dress like a vet:

Federer should stay with M1k's and Slams and avoid 250's and 500's.

Tennis is to a climbing sport, why go back when he is proficient at much higher tournaments with much more money and atp points ?

You all may speculate, he can state the reason. Anyone found his statements on this ?

Cheers

3Fees :)

He should play Dubai, Halle, Basel because he can actually win those fairly easily.

I love watching Brisbane! No joke one of my favourite tournaments to watch on the tour. Oh and I don't really care who wins, as long as its not federer
