wow!!!
out of those, the two i'm most interested in are Isner and Andreev, and I got a technical question for you ... which of those two do you think American women would swoon over more?

Not sure. Probably Isner cause he has the baby face. :)

maillot savarez maybe??i know is no more longer for one or two years ago but,who know.

Hmmmm. Perhaps???? We all seem to think it is old BDE.

Anyway, was assigned to string for Tipsarivec, Andreev and Kunitsyn this whole week among others. I believe I will be stringing Delpotros or Fish frames for the rest of the week starting tomorrow among other frames I have strung including Berankis. Was asked to trade some frames I was assigned for 3 of Quereys frames today and I passed. (My frames were easier) :)

Mark Phillipousis stopped by string room today to pick up his frames for the finals. He gave us all a "String Thing", and provided a demonstration. Neat device.

OK, will try and report some back tomorrow.

Today I did these matches:

Becker/Kohler def Karlovic/Dodig 7-6 7-6
Real shocker of a scoreline there with Dr. Ivo serving.
(Neither said much at all my shift went on during the second set tiebreak so I saw very little of this.)

Fisher/Huss def Sock/Young 6-3 4-6 1-0 (10-7)
(Donald and Jack were both very nice guys as always.) Fisher and Huss didn't talk much)

Juan Martin Del Potro def Berankers 6-4 6-1
(Del Po is very focused but nice and thanks you. his forehand is a brute and for still not at his best he was pretty damn good) (Berankers was odd)

Philippoussis def Krickstein 6-3 6-2
(Both nice, very dull match, Mark is in the gray zone, he's too old to be on the pro tour, although he is coming back, and too young to play on the senior tour, he serves 130+ and the rest serve like 100)

All and all fun night. Got Del Po's autograph on a glossy print of him holding the USO trophy. Also got Donald and Jack's autographs.

^^^ I agree ..... Hopefully, tomorrow being Thursday, we'll get streams for a few matches ... grats to Delpo on his 150th!

Argentine Juan Martin del Potro earned his 150th match win on Tuesday at the Delray Beach International Tennis Championships, as he dismissed up-and-coming Lithuanian Richard Berankis 6-4, 6-1.

The 22-year-old Del Potro went on a five-game run to build a set and 3-0 lead and saved all five break points faced on serve in the second set to clinch the victory in one hour and 16 minutes.

“It is positive for me to get through to the next round… After a year out of competition it is very tough to come back,” del Potro said. “I am improving match by match. I made two semi-finals in two weeks and my game is improving tournament by tournament.

“I was very focused in important moments, especially on break points. I knew that would be my chance to beat him. And I had more experience than him. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, with lots of Argentineans. He has a very good future. He has the chance to be in the Top 20 for sure.” ...

Thanks for the on site reports.
It's good to hear first hand a little of what goes on. :)

It's been great stringing here all week. Lots of mAdNeSs in the string room. Will try and start a thread with some photos/video next week.

Nice Blowout for Mardy Fish over Mello, 62,61. Should be the favorite over the winner of Mannarino v Falla and play JDP in Semis. I like his chances at the title.

Alway have fun saying this: GO FISH!!

Too bad they are not showing streams. There has been some good matches.

Jamie Murray stopped by the string room today to say goodbye and thank us for taking care of his frames. Very nice and funny guy. Ken (the other stringer) and I were joking with him for a while telling him we sold his reel of strings on the e bay. :)

Del Potro also stopped by to drop off some frame for tomorrow. I was stringing dodig's frames when he came by. Got a photo with him. He is very humble and super nice. Like jamie, he thanked us for the great work.

Kei Nishkori in 3rd set with Ryan Sweeting. Ryan has come a long way and is playing really well. probably the best tennis of his life.

GRRRrrrrrrrr ... I could swear we saw at least the delray beach semis and the finals (sing [gulbis won] and dub [bryan bros won) online last year. now this year nothing. is there some kind of a crackdown on our favorite sites? for instance I noticed something against atdhe.net a month or so ago ... bottom line: no streams at all!

Fedace, lipsky is stringing with BBO on mains and nxt tour 16 in crosses. 47/50 lbs. I just finished stringing his frame.

anderson is great server and good baseliner, why u expect easy match? delpo mental consistency is not perfect yet, he can lose fairly average players, im not surprised if anderson wins this

also...delpo dont see ball good yet when receiving, hes been pretty bad returning 1st serves this year, thats what happens when u are out long

6-1 6-1 scoreline just shows that opponent wasnt trying at all, UE's all around, no one wins 6-1 6-1 without opponent playing badly

see? anderson is trying, making it 50/50 match, surely delpos return game is not best yet but hes doing what he needs

GOOD news. Tennis Channel is Covering BOTH semifinals today LIVE. also coverage available on other streaming sites.

I'm watching Nish-Tips on a ghetto stream and I have to say I love that dolphin blue of the court. Soo easy on the eyes compared to the atrocity of WTF London.
