I think his form is more yo-yo-like throughout the season. He'll have his ups and downs throughout the year. Maybe even for the rest of his career.
Good call. Thats how I see it too. Except that he has looked terrible the last three matches. Better today but not good enough.

Tsonga won, eh? That's not good at all for Djokovic. Did Nole play poorly or was Tsonga just playing to his full capabilities?

Tsonga is definitely in top form right now. I wouldn't say Djoker played poorly, but he needed his best today. Good match overall

Taylor is back on tour and doing quite well so far given the nature of the injury and how long he's been away

Good match.

Not bad for an overrated, obnoxious clown.

LOL :),not bad indeed.Maybe it's just me but that BH seemed really to have improved a ton,he's really blasting DTL and CC winners off that side lately.

Someone said this about Tsonga???

Yes,about 99% of Nadal fans.

Yeah Tsonga is by far a better player than Nole these days, and Nole was actually playing great tennis in this match but Tsonga's just the better player. Well done to him. Nole really needs to focus on his game.

Novak had some chances in the first one and was hanging with Tsonga but it's hard to break Jo when he's dropping bombs like that,he served 5 first serves in a row to close out the first set.And then he just completely outclassed Novak in the tiebreak,Tsonga was just painting lines there.I think Novak maybe hit a bit too short today,he should have been more agressive but Tsonga played great,I expect good things from him this season if he stays healthy.

Tsonga is a bad match-up for Novak so Novak needs to play his best if he's to have a chance to beat him. Also Tsonga is improving lately and Djokovic is stagnating,he needs to pick it up.

Tsonganoxious took Djoko in two?

man... Xisca_freak must be having a really bad week!

Oh please I'm a Nadal fan and whilst I don't love Tsonga I certainly don't hate him and was cheering for him today.

If veroniquem, babbete, Nadal_freak & co, here you say you've rooted for Tsonga at any time whatsoever, you'll be excommunicated

it seemed to sort of explode lately when tsonga played rafa at rotterdam, hence why rafa fans get the blame, then there's talk of grudges and so on (ao last year etc) xD

let's all just watch the tiebreak and be happy!

That's just silly. And whoever said Tsonga's best surface was hardcourts really really doesn't understand Tsonga's game.

You're in that 1% :).

I haven't been a Tsonga fan until this year. I am still not a fan fan, but I really love watching matches with him and him playing my favorites. I think he brings out good aspects of their game. I'm also looking forward to seeing him at Halle and at Wimbledon. I guess I'm in that 1%.

I'm excited to see tsonga at halle as well. Djokovic will be there as well I think.

Llodra takes the first set.

Good enough, you're in that 1% as well :) Maybe I was a bit wrong about percentages :).

Imagine a Tsonga Llodra final. It would be awesome.

Definitely,it would be great.Llodra has sweet volleys and Tsonga has a great all-court game.Don't count Simon out yet though, the guy seems to have a knack for winning matches after he loses the first set.

SO..does Tsonga own Nole now? it's becoming routine...anyway i piecked Tsonga to win the whole thing, i did the same for Murray so who knows

Ahem, Nadal_Freak, cough.

since when that personality is a factor in these boards Eddy?

the guy placed Estoril in South America... he doesnt even know basic geography!

Llodra takes the first set.

i believe Seffina does not qualify as a Nadal fan... she knows too much about tennis to be one... and she as always a well balancced opinion on every subject!... so i guess your stats remain correct!
