There are 4 top players. One is absent, two are in one side and Nadal is on the other side. Tell me which one you consider stronger than Murray on Nadal's side.
I agree, I was just surprised at the site's point of view. The article was written on Saturday and the headline is "tough for Nadal, easier for Federer", their website is qataropen.org

Murray is gonna win this tourney. The guy is destined for greatness in 09

Ok, Murray's game will start around 8am or so our time, in about 8 hours from now. He's playing Huchins.

Roddick starts earlier, maybe around 6am or so against Navarro, right after Monfils vs Henrych.

LG, any update about the matches? time? streams...too lazy right now to look it up:)

i'm so lazy i just now saw your post!

truthfully, i haven't started on this one yet, even tho I'm very much looking forward to it. i think i remember reading an article about a company called LIVE broadcasting it? and there's a link right on the website?

not sure because that was a few days ago. i haven't been to the website for a while.

I can't wait! I don't really care who wins - this is going to be GOOD.
Pretty good field and Fed is not dominant like before. If he wins - hat down. I voted Murray - he should be confident now after beating both Fed and Nadal. On a second thought - Fed loses a lot in exhibition matches - he doesn't take them as serious as the real matches (or maybe he does - who can really tell)...
I just remember Fed losing to Roddick in an exhibition match then he beats him 2 weeks after.
Anyway - we'll see.

low touneys like these arent on tv much besides the local area, nadals draw isnt harder at all than feds, roddick is one lvl below the top 4 right now so yea, his match should be easier, depends on how well roddick plays i guess. I want to see roddick beat nadal but i think the odds are like 65 to 35 in nadal's favour. But roddick has a chance.

^ He already signed up for Brisbane long before the other 3 decided to play in Doha.

Day 1 Order of Play:

Of the top 4, only Roddick will play today (against Ivan Navarro of Spain). Nadal and Murray will also be playing doubles (not with each other).

Aww Nadal's wearing the polo again...i hope this isn't permanent

Roddick takes it in two. Navarro is sure a muscular guy. More like a fullback than a tennis player. Just needs to learn how to serve. 38% of first serves and 7 double faults. Roddick looked pretty good.

Navarro is a great server, just streaky. His 1st serve % was horrible today.

None of them worked for me, I'm just using the scoreboard.

Santoro/Youzhny win 6-0, 6-2

Phili Petzschner wins the first set against Jeremy Chardy in a tiebreak.

i was enjoying the Petzschner match...

And please Nadal go back to your old style....

Watching numbers on a scoreboard is annoying...guess i'll plat SCT till the stream comes back

me too. that was the first chance i had to see Petz. I was curious after he came from qualifier to winning vienna, busting wawrinka and monfils among others. He looks rangy. looks as tho the breezy cold doesnt bother him.

sleeveless would be cold tonight, but i second that emotion! :D

Practicality never bothered Rafa before why now, his rivalry with federer is amazing because they are opposites in many repsects, the clothing being one of them

Rafa with polo and normals shorts is...oh so so so wrong, looks good on him but after years of the capris and sleeveless its an unwelcome change

Anyone know what time the live feed will be for Federer's match here on the East Coast???

All the matches start at around 8am your time. Depending whether it's the first, second or third match you should be able to calculate the approximate time.

Murray, Nadal and Federer all play today, in order.

Starts at 5 am Tuesday, pacific.
