Good Lord, I've never seen so many craptacular smashes  Djokovic's overhead smashes have been just downright terrible.

I sympathize w/Novak. He's got the ice bag going on during changeovers. Simon doesn't. Novak's also got a big cheering section. Simon doesn't.

Simon serving 3-4 / deuce

Quando as Galinhas tiverem Dentes... or Quando os Porcos tiverem Asas...

when chickens grow teeth... or when pigs grow wings...

and yes... im genuine PT (with a canadian mother). why do you wonder? what may have caused you such doubt?
mmmh... probably because of a your lack of support during the GOAP's matches ! ;)

I'm glad the No. 1 seed won a set, but i'd rather it be on a tiebreak than simon losing his serve.

haha djoker and simon sure love playing 3 setters.

may the better player win, but of course i would love to see djoker win his first title of 09, hopefully he plays against gasquet in the final, would be awesome, 2 of my favs in the final :)

Eh,LG defending champ isn't here actually.Novak is a defending champion at Indian Wells, not at Dubai(he lost to the eventual champion Roddick last year).

Wow, Lahyani got that wrong. By one millimeter, but wrong. However he is so seldom wrong that players don't doubt him.

Tight match. Some hard hitting from both guys, but I think Nole's superior serve made the difference in the end.

Bravo Nole! Not a best tennis display from him IMO but he fought very well today,Simon is a tough opponent for anyone.

wow...mp from nowhere for joker

Thats the happiest I have seen Djoker for awhile...Should do wonders for his confidence beating a top ten player.

Yeah, you could tell this one really mattered to him.Novak's struglling recently to find his form and confidence so maybe this win will help,he defends the tile at IW next so he needs to find some form.

Ah Gilles I thought you had him ;___;

Looking forward to the other semi-final now, and then what looks like being an interesting final ^^

Yup, but Simon's Way is "lose the first, win the other two." Winning the first spells disaster for Gilles.

you know i have a job, a second job as business consultant\professional skill teacher, a wife, a elder mother and a father to visit and care for, a phd graduation to finish, a playing tennis adiction, a paintball team to run, a jazz and groove record collection to manage, a group of friends to hang with...:)

Goreki,
There's obviously some reason that you inserted yourself into this sequence with an odd response which you have not yet explained. I've posted your response at the end and I ask you its meaning, please. Obviously, you wanted to be understood, but you did not use a language with which I am familiar, which is why I ask you now for its translation.

did you read the page at the link?

any country in which half the population are second class citizens the minute they are born is not one that any civilized person should be supporting with money and kind words, in my opinion, but that's just me.

A chacun son gout, n'est pas? :)

Crazy translation... fr to uk to pt to uk to gr

Jedes sein Geschmack, n' Ost nicht

^^^ That's the one, Gorecki.
You want to be understood.
And I want to understand you.
So what does that response (all of it) to my post say:?: :?: :?:

That seems to be the story lately, and has been for a while now. I hope it's not a sign of a premature decline. I don't know what it is about him, he just doesn't look very interested or like he's enjoying himself.

Love baby...

i was originally just joking... it was a joke about the translations (report to andres guazzeli remark in the Nalbandian vs Koelerer Thread...) so i posted your final sentence (wich seemed very neutral) with several translations from one laguange to other, to other... just for the joke of watching it go all distorted!

i wasnt inserting myself in your conversation with Sef...

Just a joke baby... nothing more, nothing less... i have way too much worries to go "politics" in my life too!

Congrats to Nole on his first final of the year. Wish it was Simon, but Nole needed this as well.

Good luck to Gasquet. How many finals has Gasquet been to?

Richie is not finding any solutions against Ferru's game. The Frenchman looks a bit sluggish, but perhaps it is only in comparison with the quick Spaniard.
