To be honest I expect Simon to do what Cilic and Murray have done and start to take control. He can't go out now, I predicted Murray beating him in the final >_<

yah, good ol gilles and losing the first set. He's come out more aggressive now, actually hitting the corners and putting a bit more pace on things.
 
didn't expect that, Ghareeb breaks back. Simon not doing enough with the ball and Ghareeb hitting with some great depth in that game.
 
My god Simon, what is he doing??? I want to see Gasquet match....

simon usually doesn't let the heat get to him, but at one
point i thought he looked as tho he was going to faint.

So Simon finally came through. Plenty of respect to Ghareeb for the fight he put up, Gilles needs to pick things up in the next round.

nothing special really. tip's just stated to play lazy and clumsy and all of a sudden, he was facing 4 match points in his serve! i felt like jumping on the screen and shake him a bit...
 
it just wouldnt be simon if he didnt have to fight back for the victory... would it?

yeah. Oranges.. guess you are right. i just cant help so feel this sense of injustice why this idiot was not kept in banned condition.

anyway, i agree... two of my favourite players right there! are you sure that they cant both win? it would be so much easier on us!
 
Safin takes the second set! Gasquet's serve seemed to drop off a bit at the end there while Marats first serve was up considerably. Third set should be exciting
