Meddy is poor on clay,I overestimated his potential the other in a thread his groundstrokes are just ineffective it seems on clay just getting them in to play, will find it tough to reach second week at french it seems

Agreed but how did he beat Djokovic in Monte Carlo last year? He lost 1R at RG in 17, 18 and 19. Let's see if he survives 1st round.

I seriously think djokovic on clay these days us surviving purely on his talent and abilities as a player otherwise one can stand against his brand of clay tennis which imo is decent at best in past few years
 
Med with the flat shots doesn’t have the game for clay. He could become better later on if he gets accustomed to the surface but right now it’s just not for him.
 
Manny besides having rocks in his head now has rocks on his side of the court and they had to do a five minute repair before he was beaten for the first set.

I looked up the definition of booby prize in the dictionary. One of the listings was:

Hamburg’20 title

Let’s say Ruud or Tsitsipas are both good enough and crazy enough to make the final. Both would play 5 Bo3 matches from Wednesday to Sunday, then fly from Hamburg to Paris and prepare for potentially 7 Bo5 matches on clay, all in the first 30-45 days after tennis resumed.

Can you say strategic tank???

His beard is too heavy and inhibit his movement around the court.

Edit: just saw a thread mentioning he was tested positive again two times but was allowed to play!!!! How ridiculous!
 
Garin must have been upset for failing to serve out the match. Now he's broken by Hanfmann, after committing double fault!

Hanfmann just keep hitting the ball back and chases every ball.

But now Hanfmann is feeling tight serving for the second set.

Isn’t it worse than this? RG starts Sunday and the final is Sunday. They will have to play Monday or Tuesday, the finalist. If in semifinal RG should allow the player to play Monday at the earliest.:unsure:

Shoesypas wasted very little energy by finnishing Dano in less than an hour. Rubylev looked intent to match that pace in the first set vs TP but hit the speed bump early in the second set. Will go three if he can’t refind that edge.
 
Congrats to Humbert blnt Medvedev 64 63 No 1 seed is out. Big win for the Frenchmen, Another Frenchmen Monfils got ousted..

RBA FTW 6-3 in the third in a seesaw third set. Up a break at 2-0, down a break at 2-3 and then rattles off the final four games.

Rubles over pesos/euros in the QF if this is any indication of RBA’s level.
