ATP Cup 2021

Medvedev would certainly take down Fognini without a sweat, because the Italian wouldn't like to play too many balls coming back with no pace from med lad, Fabio would turn into a non fabulous error machine.
On the other hand though, I'm not sure whether Rublev can take down @tennis_pro, primarily due to his weak return
Don't the no.1 players from each country play each other?

Couple of takes from the ATP Cup:

1. Zverev has to learn to close out a match after he won the first set.

2. The serve will once against be Zed's Achilles heel this year.

Look at how much ground Fog is having to cover lol, it's killing him out there. He looks really sluggish as Rublev spreads the court well.

I mean, it's too be expected I guess, but Rubles is absolutely destroying Fog. This isn't much of a contest.

Man, how many forehand winners today? Brutal performance.

That was a bit of a throwaway service game from Fog, Rublev will now serve for the match.

Med really likes going for his 2nd serve, doesn't he? It didn't work out that well for him in yesterdays match, already a couple of DFs....

Mixed success in the past IMO...

It looks like it could be a straight sweep of matches against Italy...

Early break for Medvedev in the 2nd, great little drop volley winner.

Matteo's backhand under some serious pressure lol...

They also showed that Matteo got a forehand after the serve 77% of the time in his previous matches combined. Only 60% today, possibly even a bit lower now...

Stone hands, Daniil punishes stone hands more than almost anybody on tour..... Another break. Med forehand into Matteo, but he didn't take much offense it seems.
