Tommy Paul/Moutet was one of the most entertaining matches I've seen this year. I guess people here don't like USA tournaments.
Maybe they don't have coverage over in Europe, better still who will watch Paul/Moutet when you have Alcaraz/Sinner playing?Tommy Paul/Moutet was one of the most entertaining matches I've seen this year. I guess people here don't like USA tournaments.
They weren't playing last night. But you're right about the coverage. It was an entertaining match. Moutet saved 10 match points i a twenty minute game.Maybe they don't have coverage over in Europe, better still who will watch Paul/Moutet when you have Alcaraz/Sinner playing?

10 match points, no wonder Paul cannot win GSs.heard Moutet was chugging Coke by the end of it![]()
I think it's more than that, but it does get me thinking of what I was thinking about the other day....which is I still don't see an American man winning a slam anytime soon...watched Fritz-Shelton the other day and they both looked good, but is it grand slam winning good?....I still don't see that10 match points, no wonder Paul cannot win GSs.
Shelton really has a shot unlike Fritz whose time is up. But unfortunately, Shelton is still playing college tennis in his head. Couple more years until he will go the same way as umpteen ones before him.I think it's more than that, but it does get me thinking of what I was thinking about the other day....which is I still don't see an American man winning a slam anytime soon...watched Fritz-Shelton the other day and they both looked good, but is it grand slam winning good?....I still don't see that
Actually, I posted a like for this part of your post.Tommy Paul/Moutet was one of the most entertaining matches I've seen this year.
Not for this one.I guess people here don't like USA tournaments.
Yes, he did! He finally beat someone with better ranking than his.Sebi Korda doing good things in Delray
At least, he was not smoking.heard Moutet was chugging Coke by the end of it![]()
Agreed.Seems like a really good kid. Kecmanovic is a tough out, nice win.
Are they playing dubs here, too? I thought it was IW.How bad are he and Meddy gonna lose in dubs lmao.
Really? Most Excellent!Sebi is on the way! Yay! Takes out Ruud in 3.
Learner plays a connoisseur's tennis.Tien up to an early 3-0 lead over Tiafoe. Little Learner teaching Big Foe a thing or two.

It's a typical "reappearance of Seb Korda." He'll probably win this week and have a nice run at one of the Sunshine Double tournaments and get us buzzing that maybe he's going to break out again. That never seems to ever pan out and he goes on to have confusing Slam losses and disappear for a while. But we can hope.Seb Korda gets Cobolli in the semis. Stay with it, Seb!
Thanks for this comment. To me, Tien has that Hingis-ish thing going, and not so much Rios. Just another POV..Foe Foe-ing big time. Breaking, then getting broken twice in one set. Hitting into the forehand off of a mid-court ball (resulting in a passing shot). Terrible approach shots coming in (like when he was serving at 5-4, break point down) --the outer third of the court s for doesn't count as down the line (i.e., if that approach was actually down the line, he may have been okay).
I say all of this as a fan.
One positive - his backhand looks slightly reworked to me; not as much of a shovel/push.
He's gotten back on track (at least for now) in the second set.
As for Tien, I really like his game, but like a lot of people, I question whether his height will prevent him from getting to the very top level. But, he's lefty, so I think maybe he can be a Rios type player who has a tricky lefty serve, even if shorter, and ascend pretty high. But getting broken 3 times in one set by Tiafoe makes me question that.
Yeah, Learner's serve is sometimes / often cringe-ey. Not much else to say atm..> But getting broken 3 times in one set by Tiafoe makes me question that.
I think I just default to Rios because of him being a lefty, but that's probably an overly simplistic and not-best comparison. I can see Hingis with the variety and ability to redirect, and the okay, but never consistently great, serve which may or may not be a liability in a particular match. Thanks for this comment. yep.Foe can never just walk a straight line.
