I agree. But let's make first condition equal, me or you whoever wins will pick the other one's avatar till 31st December (+1 week in my case as my current debt is ongoing).
Because I want many such "transactions" for upcoming tournaments lol.

You're so good at this. I wonder whether you're in the banking field lol.
Well, looks like I may be not so good- though I couldn't stay up to respond. Sure, what's my avatar?

Not the best ending to Med's season. Failed to defend both titles he won last year.

Something tells me he'll never be a dominant HC player like some have said.

I've always thought Zverev had more of a "giving up" attitude on court than a choker's personality.
Never really bought into his supposed choking.
And when you fix the dejection and the impulse to give up, you can turn someone as talented as he undeniably is into a champion.
He just needs to win a Slam and get that monkey off his back (to stop it from becoming a gorilla).

As long as he isn’t a total mug on clay I’ll be shocked if Medvedev isn’t #1 at some point next year. He has so many points to gain, and if he wins the AO it should be nearly a lock.
2,514 point differential says if Medvedev wins AO & Novak skips he WILL become #1 right then and there. So will be interesting.

Damn that was quick.
Even I was not sure about this much straight forward win.
Guess Djokovic win gave sascha the confidence to finally realise that his game heights are way beyond Daniil's.

Zed with the most Zed season yet, being the best player outside the slams but still not able to make a single slam final.

Wins the 5th & 6th most important titles of the season, and leads the tour in overall titles.
had really good looks at three of them though but his choking got in the way a couple of times

Yeah but that's always been his problem. He was almost always better than the players he lost to at slams but would choke them away with his own double faults and passive play. He got closer this year but it was still the same problems in the end.

I'm a little surprised they didn't take the chance to change the trophy. With the move to a new venue in a new country I was expecting the event to be refreshed a bit. But they went with the same exact court (dark blue interior, light blue exterior, crowd in complete darkness) and the same trophy with those annoying ribbons on it. You would never know they moved.

Hmm... How to you explain his spectacular choke against Rafa at the 2019 YEC? He was up 7-6, 5-2, 30-15 and managed to lose the match. There are several other examples of him folding like a cheap tent.
You what mate???
He won set one 7-6
Lost set 2 6-3
Was up 0-4 30-40 (break points to serve for bagel) vs nadal
Had match point on nadal serve at 1-5 30-40
Then after he was never ahead in any game.
Massively choked but backed up by nadal's own choke the following year.

I think he had a lack of confidence that used to flare up quite a bit, but I don't think he's like Coria, literally afraid of winning.
It's something he has been able to fix and not an overall incapacitating problem, imo.

Maybe that's the point. Stress the continuity this year, given that WTF in London has been a popular event. Maybe they'll start tweaking it from next year?

How do you think Zverev Djokovic final at the FO and a Zverev Medvedev at the US would have turned ?
Djokovic would definitely have won the RG final and I think Med would have taken the US Open final.

The tricky one is the AO because I think Zed could actually have won the whole thing if he didn't choke in 3/4 sets against Djokovic in the QF. Of course, this implies that Med would have showed up against Zverev in the same way that he did against Djokovic in the AO final.

Makes sense I guess, I just don't like it. And I know it's not like they change every time. It moved around every couple years in the early 2000s but still had that drab gray color every time. It had a lot more variety in the decade before that I liked.

It's the one event on tour that actually rotates, that's what makes it unique. It's bad enough they were in London for so goddamn long, so I was looking forward to a change.

For purely selfish reasons, I would have been happy for it to remain in London a while longer. :D

London and Turin are both at the O2 Arena

If OG and WTF are Goat tiebreakers, doesn't that make Zverev....
Also, ATP site promised an epic. Do I get my money back?
Actually, I didn't watch so no need.

I think there used to be a guy whose autocorrect always changed Zverev into street.

There isn't really a rational connection between street and Zverev.
I always thought it had something to do with his fascination with Gold Chains.
