that was good sportsmanship by Alcarez saying the umpire's call didn't bother him, but they need to let them finish playing the point out before going to video review so they don't have to replay point if the umpire calls it wrong

It was his point, justice is served, momentum is ruined.

Making Alcaraz move like a windshield wiper without taking risks, this is the key against him, percentage tennis, the Spaniard, unlike some clichés, is accustomed to tolerance in the exchange.

I guess we will see. His best slams are still coming, AO has been his weakest slam historically.
If he loses RG, he will arrive at Wimbledon with an insurmountable amount of pressure, knowing he failed at RG, USO, AO and the Olympics and I think he loses there too.

Djokovic hit him off the court in AO, totally the opposite playing style.

I would agree that losing RG would put a lot of pressure on him.

But I personally wouldn't count out someone of the pedigree of Alcaraz to make magic and win a slam when you least expect it, the way he bounced back after losing RG 2023 to win W 2023.

Once the ump opens his mouth to make that “not up” call while Charlie is running for the ball and it turns out the call was wrong you play the point over.

Draper is not Djokovic.

Why does Draper have to take big risks when the point is given to him by Alcaraz who makes all these unforced errors?
The important thing is to make him move.

I'm just say that there are different ways to beat him, Alcaraz can be hit off the court also.

4-2 Draper.

IF Alcaraz loses this match, he will be holding ZERO masters titles. The first time since IW 2022.

I actually think Draper is the next 2000s person to win a slam. I fancy his chances at Wimbledon in the next 5 years to win 1 of them

yeah I know which is why the ump should wait to go to video after point is played out. that way if it was double bounce point ends there or if it was good then the point was played out to see who won that point and you don't have to replay the point which would be unfair to the player who originally won the point. Alcarez said the umps call didn't bother him which was good sportsmanship

Draper looks like he has slams in him from his talent, but not sure he will be the next player from the 2000s, he is still inconsistent and suffers from injuries often.
