hmmmmm....Oh wow Hurkasz v Sinner!!!
2-0 Sinner, double break per set ...
Schwartzman match never tested him at all. If sinner manages to irk out the win he can play himself back into formYes! Sinner grabs the set. Not a fan of these massive servers much as Hubie is a nice guy.
The big serving is good prep for returning serve i guess?Sinner somehow lives to see another day, after being steadily outplayed for the full two hours. I laugh at those who say Sinner needs a psychiatrist. If he needs a psychiatrist, 99.5% of ATP players need to be locked up in an insane asylum.
Hahaha, probably was avoiding another bagelIn other news, Berrettini withdraws. This Danish kid really seems to give Matteo some serious medical issues...
I mean, I meant it jokingly... but honestly I don't think so. Looks like it's another abdominal tear - inner oblique - and HIS are very real. That body just cannot support his playing style. Kinda sad, he was slowly inching back towards respectability...Hahaha, probably was avoiding another bagel

Correction treble break!!This will be the double break set![]()
about as interesting as a freshly-boulanged baguette.Third set should be interesting
they're good friends too, you could see Jannik felt bad for him at the end. Just as Hubi did a few years ago in Miami.Correction treble break!!
wow, poor Hurkasc , he's a nice lad
I’m just happy with the consistency. If he plays Djokovic in the QF and beats him I hope he wins the titleIt is no surprise that people which know Sinner well are going to DF more than usual. If your are not serving strong it will be hard to keep ahead in the rally.
Hubi was smart to play it risky, pushing the serve and the next ball to the limit. We will see that pattern by other big servers, no surprise there. Overall Grand Slams will suit Sinner better then Masters as his quality is more likely to come through.
Yeah but today I think he just needed more time on the clay. As you said, as the match progresses you really see his quality and he started to put more pressure on Hubi’s serveI hope that too. Sinner suffers when guys like FAA, Hubi, Popyrin play well. Of the big servers Tsitsi & Zverev are roughly at his level.
Hubi has a good game plan and executed it well until he didn't...

Man I hope he gets over that Medvedev hump. He really needs a big title. I think if he gets one, it’s almost like the floodgates will open for many moreNot sure if he can though, he has a very tough draw. He certainly needs to hope he doesn't play Medvedev who owns him 6-0. And Tsitsipas is overall a better player on clay should that final happen.
He certainly is in the running, but odds are not in his favor due to the draw.
And with regards to Tsitsipas. Yes he may have lost to him in five this year at the AO but I think Sinner knows how to play him now and I think he’s a better player at this very moment. By years end he will surpass Tsitsipas in the rankings and really and truly I don’t see him defending it for a third timeNot sure if he can though, he has a very tough draw. Yeah I know the draw is difficult which is why if he wins this it’s really a breakthrough. He’s tried time and time again and I hope he gets it doneHis draw is very difficult indeed. Even if, and this is a big if, he wins against Novak, Zverev & Meddy or Rune are all tough matchups. On the other side Tsitsi seems to be on an autobahn towards the third title in a row. The big questions is Stefanos injury.

Yeah just want him to get the monkey off his back. That saved MP in the second set against Hurkacz has me sold for him winning this damn tournamentWell, this one will be done the hard way if you look at his potential path here.

True I guess we’ll just have to wait and seeYou think he wins that MP if it was Djokovic, or Medvedev or Tsitsipas on the other side. Hubie is quite in their league, and hasn't beaten a top 10 for quite some time.
*laughs in USO 12 and RG 19*Hate windy conditions. Makes for such scrappy tennis.
Murray would disagreeHate windy conditions. Makes for such scrappy tennis.
That’s a real shameI mean, I meant it jokingly... but honestly I don't think so. Looks like it's another abdominal tear - inner oblique - and HIS are very real. That body just cannot support his playing style. Kinda sad, he was slowly inching back towards respectability...
That RG 19 match was hard to watch. I believe Fed would have taken a set in better conditions. He was playing well.*laughs in USO 12 and RG 19*
That’s a real shameFingers crossed he is able to recover in time for the grass at least
Hella windy in Monte Carlo today, I would hate being out there.
It was a Google scoreboard error, it’s been corrected. lolTsitsipas won a set 5-3? How? lol
I guess but whoever makes the final from the top half wins it. Don’t see him winning it three times in a rowPencil Tsitsipas into the final. The man is a human wrecking machine on these courts.
He has now won 20 out of the last 21 sets he has played in MC. A true titan of the sport.
