Should be a great tournament if Alcaraz and Sinner both play. Would be great to see another final between the two.

At some point that run of the two meeting in the finals of all the big tournaments must end. Could it be here? Alcaraz probably faces Tien in his first match. It's a quick turnaround for Learner from the tournament in China, particularly if he makes the final which is currently looking likely given that Medvedev doesn't seem to be able to walk, let alone run. He doesn't have a bye in the first round of Shanghai. Alcaraz probably gets Medvedev in R4 if the latter is able to play. Sinner gets Bublik in R4. But right now neither of them looks as though they are going to lose to anyone but each other.

Djokovic is in Sinner's half, so it will be interesting to see whether he can still interfere with the duopoly.

It ended in Canada, which neither of them played.

Before Shanghai, their current "big" finals streak was just Cincy + the USO.

Welp, coming back after cooking my dinner and it's 5 all in the second set? I thought Korda got a break earlier lol. Classic Korda.

GSM Comesana, he smacked the ball out towards Japan.

I think players should get fined for smacking the ball after match point, because the ball could endanger somebody's life.

Convincing win by O'Connell over Dzumhur. O'Connell hit the ball harder and he's more proactive. Dzumhur hit less winners (17 winners to O'Connell's 30).

LOL Yi Zhou has a Labubu doll on his Wilson bag
