Honestly I think Med is currently entering his Bionic Murray stage.

Realistically there's no coming back from this kind of physical decline, where even Bo3 matches seem too much for him.

(He's still fun to watch though! I hope he sticks around top 20 for a while)
I think using the extreme humid conditions are a poor example. Everyone has suffered including the most innocent wrongfully accused doper - Jannik sinner.

Lol the ATP trainer has the same hand sanitizer bottle that I have on his rucksack. I also have the same one on my rucksack.

I see 8 year olds with better anticipation of hitting
winners from sitters instead of just the open court

Would love to see RingerNeck go to 3 sets with Meds
Also Vacherot could upset the Goatkeeper

Medvedev's footwork is very close to or same as ADM.
Medvedev has the edge of defense coverage and serve against ADM.

ADM's FH and BH just cannot break through Medvedev's defense.

How has DeMug not caught on
Its time if he wants to go any further than infant Tennis IQ

I think De Minaur's eastern forehand grip limits him. He should try Western or semi western forehands. And the backhand he needs to add more topspin to it like Tien.

Honestly all he needs is a better serve and better finishing abilities, that way he can become a true fast court threat.

He's just not powerful enough to implement the modern spin game, so he should focus on his strengths IMO.

He needs a brain, the weapons are there
just knowing how to use them is the key.
He is finally strong enough to peel banana
skins which was a past issue for him.

Tien has less yet offers more mastery
its all down to the brain and has no clue
how to hit a drop shot which is comical
for his level, ranking, experience and
versus a player that stays so far back.

Like his sponsor he is just a SAP.
Ironically he is using the P25 or Prince
copy yet gets less pop than Davydenko.

Another big win for Daniil. Just this match alone was the difference in being 17 & 13 for him.

Was consistently hitting a bigger ball than Alex, and withstood the storm when he upped his level in the 2nd, then played a super clutch, vintage Medvedev game at 4-4 to break, which he really needed since he was “exhausted”, I doubt he wins a 3rd.

It’s still going to be a tall order to win 2 more consecutive days and get the championship, but no matter what he’s proved to himself and everyone else what he’s capable of. Watching their match in M-C this year, they this felt unthinkable. Best he’s played since Wimbledon ‘24, bar none.

He wins the set. But this is alarming. Like real alarming how he is allowing easy closing moments to almost slip away(he closed it now). That has been the reason of his losses this year and it seems its gone to another level now.

Those second serves were almost yippish.
I agree, but given just how much baggage there is at this point, I just have to be happy when he gets through it at all, however ugly it may be.

He said he was struggling physically today too, so I’ll try to give him some slack on that front as well.

why the hell is the on court coaching mic so sporadic? some matches we get sprinkles of dialogue from the coaches box that we can hear, then nothing at all for a whole match. what is the reasoning behind this?
Tomas was coaching Daniil a lot in the previous match. But I think as long as he seems content and things are going well enough he’ll stay silent.

Alex has never had a talkative box (which is good).
