This feels like a very dangerous situation, Medvedev feels like the better player but Arthur keeps holding on getting past all the half chances.

No, I'm afraid that's all in your imagination. Unlike you and your pals, I don't make predictions about the slam race, don't believe in GOATs and didn't believe it was possible to compare players across eras long before any of the infamous 3 reached 20 slams. I did of course post about the vaccination lunacy but that's an entirely separate topic.

It's quite revealing that all it takes are a couple of posts here about the excessive 'warrior' talk against someone ranked in the 200s for all the screws to come loose for a certain kind of Djokovic fan who lives eternally in a kind of preadolescent state.

Kudos to this. Ultimately, the djokovic fanbase was due to get a taste of their own medicine after all the tons and tons vile and toxic stuff they posted against Federer and Nadal when they were on their way out. It's clear they are unable to take it as well as they could dish it out.

Rinderknech's strategy to be honest makes him the favorite for the 3rd set. Medvedev will have to serve like he did against Tien to make it matter.

What in the hell happened to Djokovic? Was not expecting that result! If Rinderknech wins, not only will we have a maiden Masters titelist, the winner will win it as their first ATP title! Or Medvedev wins the next two matches and breaks his own 'can't win the same tournament twice' curse.

Yeah, nothing off the ground is working because Rinderknech is just not going to engage in baseline wars. And Daniil can't play the net as well as De Minaur match today.

The moment his serve gives out, this is over.

There is a degree of unexplained lack of energy from both guys, especially Rinderknech who should be pumped to be playing the way he is. The conditions are seemingly worse and it seems its getting to both

The Frenchman somehow keeps bringing it.

The problem is the same, if you allow an option for any pro to win a point against you on serve 70% of the time with the same strategy, you just won't break. Rinderknech is using spot serving and SnV to exploit Medvedev's positioning.

I am not even sure why he is maintaining that positioning when in so many matches he has experimented recently.
