ATP Rankings when the tour is resumed?

Assuming it resumes with Cincy, will the points of cancelled tournaments be dropped? If so

#1 Djokovic
10220 - (45 - 90 - 180 - 1000 - 600 - 720 - 2000) = 5585

#2 Nadal
9859 - (500 - 360 - 360 - 360 - 1000 - 2000 - 720 - 1000) = 3559

#3 & #4 Thiem and Medvedev methinks.

Do you think they will cancel all the points from canceled tournaments at the resume?

I dont't mind this option, but I think they will keep the points until next edition of the tournament(I don't like it) or the end of the year(Drop them before ATP finals is my favorite options).

Yes I think the points of all canceled tournaments will be dropped as soon as the tour resumes but I could be wrong. It's just my guess.

Will Canada Masters be played??

Nadal will be the biggest beneficiary as the things stands now. All the biggest tournaments were he usually thrives, bar Canada and Monte Carlo, will be held, otoh Wimbledon and the Asian tour were Djokovic is pretty strong, are not happening this year. I don't know what's about the indoor season, but low chances of that happening also. So big chance that the great Mallorcan toreador ties Sampras this year, and finishes for a 6th time, as the YE#1 in the world.

The only logical thing to do would be to keep points for each event for 52 weeks (except the WTF), so that they have the same impact on the ranking. But that would mean doubling points of some events (like having USO19 and USO20).

I guess I'm out of the loop, has the whole calendar been rescheduled? I know RG is scheduled for September, but hasn't he missed the rest of the clay season?

Rankings are based on a rolling week system is my guess, so if the week rolls by with a cancelled tournament then that equals points dropping off and no new points.

Rome is being played this year, and that is the only clay event Rafa won last year other than Roland Garros.
“We plan to reschedule the Internationals this year,” Italian Open Chief Angelo Binaghi said in an interview with Sky Sports 24. “We would be very happy to be one of the preparatory tournaments for Roland Garros.”

Here are Rafa's 2019 clay results:
Monte Carlo = SF
Barcelona = SF
Madrid = SF
Rome = W
Roland Garros = W
