Thanks for reminding me.
AR with the break and hold, clutch!
Break for the match would be fun.
5-4 now. Roddick netting a lot of forehands this set.
Huge FH winner from DK to make AR serve for it Shake your booty@@nice DJ!
Oh god im so depressed.. kudla was up 2-0 in the third set and it seemed like andy was out of it so i put a lot of money on kudla .. damn..
Kudla's bad first serve in the third set cost him here. He blew a chance up 2-0.
Bad bet. AR pulls it out, as he should!
Raonic up. Whats the over/under for serves over 140. I got 12.
Raonic will win, but Kamke will give him some fits too. He's been playing well all year.
unconfirmed: Monfils out of San Jose and Memphis
Yeah but i was doing live- betting and for almost the entire match Kudla was easily holding his serve and kept almost breaking Roddick's. At a certain point it was 5-5 and 0-40 in the 2nd set on Roddick's serve. HOW DO YOU BLOW THAT??? COME ON! He was also up a break in the 3rd set and could (should?) have gone 3-0 up. Seriously I'm not even angry at myself, this seemed like a solid bet, but I'm pissed off as hell at Kudla. SERIOUSLY!?!?! How did this happen? I feel as if I just bought an expensive new car and it got stolen the next day. AAAH MAN! Why did this have to happen
Kudla's first serve failed him. Simple as that.
Monfils withdraws from San Jose with knee injury
everybody's in bad shape
Raonic seems indisposed: he didn't wave to the public upon entering
and I think I saw slight hobbling when landing from serving
This is why Kudla's #220 in the world and Roddick is #17. They both smack the ball well, and they both have a monster serve. It was the same with Freddie Nielsen and Mardy Fish in the Hopman Cup. Fish is #8 and Nielsen was #240. Nielsen's mental game took a bath in the third set, as it does with players ranked that low. If a player wants to go up, they have to work on the mental game.
Monfils does NOT take care of his body well. He doesn't take care of his joints at all.
but Raonic is very efficient 4-1 quickly
He says he knows that but that's the way he plays.
Sure, but Rafa has played like that for years, and while his body is tightening up after all those years, he's still out there fighting and playing hard. He's taking care of himself.
Raonic's fh is very accurate..nice one to the corner again
Raonic 56% 1st serve
LOL commentator says at 0-15 Raonic.
"That gives Kamke an opportunity to break" ???
Well the commentator was half right...Kamke does break.
0-40 to Ad in Kamke!
What has happened to Raonic's game?
back on serve
match point Raonic
nice tie break comeback...
That was some intense tiebreak....
He moved very conservatively yesterday. The knee, I guess.
Let's see the match with Anderson.
Sorry for the blurry picture. This was when Roddick was being treated after injuring his ankle last night against Kudla.
Nope. But I was there watching.
Excellent! Just do it!
I've got better news about tennistv.com
my subscriptiom from last year w/b ending in March, so I didnt realize they've improved their offerings this season (tho I should have realized it when I found they were showing Brasil Open) ... i remember feeling really cheated last year when 250 after 250 was blacked out here, and I hadn't realized that was the case when I purchased the subscription ... even wrote them a nasty note teehee
trick is to look at the "tournaments" section of that website to see which tournaments w/b blacked out where @ http://www.tennistv.com/page/Schedule
there's definitely an improved selection this year. for instance, for us nalbandian and monaco fans, we were never previously able to watch the Copa Telmex ... now it "looks" as tho only Argentina w/b blacked out for that one ... hope, hope, hope ... IOW that website in the past has not been best about keeping updated ...
The fact that there is no slam coverage makes the entire site a non-starter.
But tennistv.com is an ATP/WTA thing. There would be no grand slam coverage. In the US, ESPN3 has free coverage online of all of the slams, and there are other sites available.
I'm suprised that Strode is doing as well as he is. IMO he uses the slice FH too much, but he seems to be solid off the ground.
Strode seems determined to make a hash of this first set..
Kutrovsky has the awkward double hander on both wings.
Strode is a great player, great serve and forehand. His movement isn't top notch so he compensates by hitting too many slice shots.
let's see Anderson Raonic tomorrow, it might be the winner of the tourney
i hope roddick wins this tourney he really deserves it i heard when he played kudla he fell on the court
Alright, bring on some Harrison v Ginepri!
Harrison Ginepri Amercan in the quarters, Wow.
Two Americans in quarters. Roddick is already in.
Harrison Serving for Set!
Harrison should get to the Semi's playing like this....
Get on the Ryno train . . . there's plenty of room. He beat Raonic last year at IW in a high quality third round match of up and comers.
Harrison will win this match, and after he does, he gets good old Dimitar "Slice at all times" Kutrovsky in the Quarters. That's easily winnable. Harrison in the semis will be helpful for his confidence.
I was front row center for that one, best match i saw, amazing.
