Isner... No he ain't! Why oh why did I put my faith in a freakishly tall American? Seriously hacked off by how many retirements I've now suffered in both ATP & WTA SDLs.

Big John played ONE point and retired. Seriously??? That just bites.

It wasn't one point, it was 1-1, so 2 whole games! Quit whining...that's probably a good 2-3 minutes of tennis considering how long his rallies last. :)

I find this really hilarious though....it's almost like he was trying to spite someone in SDL. If he retired pre-match it would have been early enough in the day for everyone to make a replacement pick.

Hewitt is gone. Thought this would be a good time for a reminder that both dcdoorknob and Locotus still have their "Saves" available from last year's WTF if they want to pick from some of today's matches that haven't started.

apparently Cilic has given a walkover to de Schepper, at least that's what the wimbledon site is showing.

What the hell is going on today? When I first checked the bracket on Wikipedia, there were some many walkovers/retirements I thought it was some troll vandalizing the page.

I'm trying to find confirmation for the Cilic withdrawl, but I would recommend that everyone who took Cilic make a "Plan B" pick ASAP in case it's true.

Yeah, Cilic is out. I hope the people who picked him pay attention and make new picks.

Well my save was going to be Cilic, but now I'll still use it and pick:

Day 3: Melzer.

Not happy about it though Double troll is definitely a possibility.

What this about? I thought you lost picking Hewitt?

Never mind....totally forgot that existed!

Tournament Summary:

Out of the 54 who started, 49 made it through the first 2 days. Only 26 of those survived today, with Locotus having the distinction of "losing" twice by virtue of unsuccessfully using his "Save" from last year's WTF. For those of us fortunate enough to survive, we still have an incredibly decimated bottom half of the draw to navigate through. It will be interesting to see the choices for Day 5.

Good luck to those who remain...it will be fun to watch your picks. After today, I don't feel quite as bad about my early loss yesterday.

I feel bad for Locotus. I think that's when you know it's just not your day. You get two bites at the apple and you still come up empty.
