Sounds like all decent choices to me - but hey, can someone fill me in on what Marin Cilic has actually done to win that Arthur Ashe Award?
(perhaps I've missed out on something...)

It's pretty obvious I'm referring to the Fans' favourite Award

Oh well that is just bizare from you then. How can anyone possibly contest this award when the sole criteria is a popularity contest?

You are annoyed that when asked to pick their favourite player that the most people picked Fed as their favourite. and the annoyance stems from the fact as he only played 7 tournaments. That is very strange position from you. Should the fans have said, no Federer is not our favourite as he only played in 7 tournaments.

and he appeared in 2 slam SFs this year, so hardly like he was totally MIA.

You've missed the point completely it seems

The fact he would most likely still win this award if he didn't play a single tournament tells you everything you need to know

Anything under 2-3 Majors per year is sub-standard for ArcspacE:

But why does everybody like him (apart from the ************* members and the similar fractions of other players fanbases)?

Everybody doesn't like him as I've said if there is any connection between the ATP awards and reality it's a coincidence.

It's absolutely hilarious. Every year it never fails to disappoint. 99% of the Fed fans here don't actually care when he wins his 1000th sportsmanship/fan favourite award, but it's very funny watching other players fans lose their minds over it.
LOL, exactly.
Even more, isn't it peculiar that the folks claiming these awards being of minor value (about which they are perfectly right imho) are the same ones screaming that the ballots are 'rigged' because their favourites didn't win? o_O :D
