What do you guys think about Wawrinka vs Berdych as #2 decider? Berdych has won 1 of the last 8 encounters between the two. Does he have a chance here?

I would love to see the look on peoples faces if Wawrinka beats Djokovic tonight and Berdych somehow produces his best tennis and beats him in the final match and Wawrinka/Berdych take the SF places.

Only way Tomas beats Novak is...

Total god-mode from the former... and the latter plays like he did during Toronto/Cincy.
 
So basically Cilic and Raonic play the match of their lives against Roger, cockblocking his way to a GS and YE no.1, qualifies for the WTF as a result but only to be queefed all over by everyone. Unbelievable :mad:
 
Does anyone miss the presence of Ferrer?

I think Ferrer would have made it more competitive (he can easily take most of these guys to 3 sets... beating at least half of them probably... only Roger and Novak match up well against David).

yeah.. and atleast one of his matches would go 2 hours.. I think the average match time has been ~80 minutes so far. I would be really upset if I had paid big bucks for this.

Yup pretty much.

These things happens though. It's unfortunate.

I'm disappointed the level of playing of most who's in the WTF to be honnest.

Everything looks like a Federer Djoko final with Stan and possibly Murray that might spoiled the broth but it seems unlikely.

And than people say there is no hate against Novak here. :shock:

Anyway I don't really care about the WTF results. All Novak needs to do here is secure YE #1. Anything else is irrelevant at this point.

He just needs to win 9 games vs Murray and if he doesn't, he has to hope that Nishikori blasts Raonic without giving up 2 games.

Please read my post again before overreacting. I sad "with some other draw" i.e. - if draw was different.

Fed is qualifying as first from this cakewalk group as drawn, that is certain. No one ever said anything different.

If you guys could pick 8 of any current top 20 player to compete for the WTF, who would you pick to make the most interesting and entertaining matchups? (Note - You dont have to include any of the Big 4 if you dont want to)

I would have in group A
Nadal
Raonic
Nishikori
Ferrer

Group B
Murray
Federer
Gulbis
Robredo
 
To be honest, the women's WTA tournament had way better tennis in my opinion. Yes, there were some horrible matches and results, but, majority of the women played extremely hard throughout the tournament.

This tournament seems like guys are just playing because they have to play, I don't see any passion in the matches. It's like just give me my paycheck and let me go home and rest for next year.

I might replace Nishi with Robredo and Tsonga with Monfils.:)
Robredo has performed(at times)like a top 10 player,I've been entertained and impressed by him.:)
