They put Murray and Djokovic on during the day back in 2012. Which is why I'm not quite sure.

We'll see though.

Seems the benevolent choice in that match-up, whereas in this case you should be good;) Lucky man!

If Berdych plays like he did last week in Paris, I think he could be a tough obstacle for Roger, especially given the latter's recent form.

Not so much form that has been bothering the old man as boredom. Expect him to turn it up a notch in what is a tournament that he likes and the last one of the year.

But Berdych has the potential of playing him tough, yes.

How you rating Novak's chances for the title? Runaway favorite, no?

I don't think any match is a given but I'm glad Federer is in Djokovic's group. This year Djokovic seems to have been raising his game for finals. Getting some confidence early might help.

Federer knows how to play him now. IW and Rome matches are enough evidence. A few years ago Federer couldn't demolish Berdych 2 matches in a row. Now he can and he has done it.

Extraordinary from Fred to lead all those categories. But he has been exceptionally consistent at this tournament.

I don't expect him to outdo Novak in return games won this year though ;)
After this stat, I expect him to beat Djokovic. As they say "hic rhodus hic salta".

Remember what I said,

Semis:

Djokovic vs Stan
Federer vs Nadal

Final: Federer vs Djokovic

Winner: Probably Djokovic.

EDIT: And btw, write Murray off already. He has the Davis Cup in his mind, he is at London just for compromise. He won't push his game to the limit at all.

Group Novak:
Novak vs. rest 45-25 (8-2 in 2015, both losses to Fed)
Federer vs. rest 38-29 (4-4, all losses to Novak)
Berdych vs. rest 9-37 (0-5)
Nishikori vs. rest 7-8 (0-1)

Group Murray:
Murray vs. rest 25-27 (3-0 in 2015)
Stan vs. rest 15-28 (2-1)
Nadal vs. rest 51-15 (2-3)
Ferrer vs. rest 19-40 (0-3)

No disrespect to Ferrer, but I would've preferred him over Berdych or Nishikori. Djokovic's two matches against Berdych this year on hard courts were actually super tight and we all know how Kei pushed him last year when they met in the semis. And needless to say I would've preferred Nadal over Federer. In fact come to think of it, Novak probably has the toughest group he could've imagined.
Wow and the other half is loaded. It really is a great draw.

Oh please! You would be whining no matter what the group situation was. If Wawrinka was in Djokovic's group, you'd be complaining about that too. The groups don't matter much. Djokovic is the solid favorite to win the tournament, followed by Federer. Of course anything can happen but I'll be surprised if anybody other than those two wins the title.

Here is what's going to happen

Group Donald Young:

Federer d. Nishikori
Djokovic d. Berdych (lol)
Federer d. Djokovic (I'm crazy maybe)
Nishikori d. Berdych
Djokovic d. Nishikori
Federer d. Berdych

Group Ernest Gulbis:

Wawrinka d. Nadal
Murray d. Ferrer
Wawrinka d. Murray
Nadal d. Ferrer
Murray d. Nadal
Wawrinka d. Ferrer

Semis:

Federer d. Murray
Djokovic d. Wawrinka

Final:

Djokovic d. Federer
A resurgent Nadal is the wild card in this. He could sweep.

Group Novak:
Novak vs. rest 45-25 (8-2 in 2015, both losses to Fed)
Federer vs. rest 38-29 (4-4, all losses to Novak)
Berdych vs. rest 9-37 (0-5)
Nishikori vs. rest 7-8 (0-1)

Group Murray:
Murray vs. rest 25-27 (3-0 in 2015)
Stan vs. rest 15-28 (2-1)
Nadal vs. rest 51-15 (2-3)
Ferrer vs. rest 19-40 (0-3)
Looks like good draw for Nishikori and Nadal.

Djokovic ending up with a positive h2h was inevitable. This is what happens when 2 great players play against each other very often late in their careers with one player being 6 years older than the other. I don't recall one h2h when the older player finished with a positive h2h against the younger unless they played a lot early on. The fact that Federer kept it so close for so long only proves that he's greater.
Let it go dude

Probably how he has shown up for 90% of his career, either injured or not 100% feeling it. I have little confidence in Nishikori.
Yeah me too. Pretty low odds he will be amazing.
Still... Right before tournaments start I tend to get over enthusiastic for nice breakthroughs :)

Updated odds. Rafa comes in, due to his great draw.

N Djokovic
8/15
R Federer
4/1
R Nadal
10/1
A Murray
12/1
S Wawrinka
12/1
T Berdych
40/1
K Nishikori
45/1
D Ferrer
66/1

I just back and had a look and you're right. No guarantee about whether it will be day or night session though.

Sometimes they put the better match on during the day,as the day hasn't always sold out. Just to shift the last few tickets.

Not sure what the ticket situation is this year.
