I found it - it's 5-3, De Minaur is leading in the first :) (unfortunately I have to leave in 10 minutes so I won't get to see the rest of the match) ):

De Minaur wins the first set, 6-3! :)

Wish I could stay and watch the rest of it as my boy Alex might win! :)

Fritz needs to improve his transition, he hits a big shot then stands on the baseline and lets the point reset.

Has he come back in to the net since he missed the easy one at the end of the first?

Congrats to de Minaur on winning his 2nd ATP title (1st one won in Sidney at the start of the season) and doing it without facing a single break point on serve all week (apparently Isner and Haas are the only 2 previous players known to have accomplished this)!

Still not sure about the muzzy though. ;)

His serving stats were remarkable. He won 116 of 123 points for the week when his first serve went in. I don't know whether he's made some changes to his game, or he simply faced opponents who were abysmal on return. He's not exactly a player associated with having an unplayable first serve.

I've liked this kid since the first time I saw him play and continue to catch all his matches. I'm not sure what it is I like so much. Maybe it's the moxie. Maybe it's the way he fights. I see a lot of Hewitt in him. There are intangibles that go beyond stats, and I think that's especially true of this kid. I especially loved the way he stepped in against RO. Instead of doing the Thiem and Nadal thing, he did the Fed thing, trying to cut down court size. I want to really study today's match carefully. At any rate, what a wonderful change to see someone so young win. Bring on the Diamond Age!!!

I don’t know if it is a tribute to AdM’s overall game or a reflection of how bad Opelka can play his return games...Opelka won just two points on AdM first serve points.
True, but he was also just a couple points away from winning the whole thing, if he had taken the first TB. He hit some clutch shots to take the 2nd TB.

Didn't watch any of the tournament. Was De Minaur "just too good," or did he get a favorable draw? I suspect the match with Bernie didn't take much out of him. I like watching ADM play, and am one of those who am hoping he'll put on some muscle and step up his game accordingly.
