Who ya got in this enormously talented and hunky final?

The Lord is 6-0 in finals; Young God is 0-2.

Smashing 2hbh of The Gulbinator vs the spin/power combo of the 1hbh Greek Freak.

Greek 2018 breakthrough player of the year vs Latvian Lothario in version 4.0 of his renaissances.

So much joy on the court at once!

Discuss, no disgust!

Tsitisipas in 3. He's had a great tournament and I think he'll carry it into the final.

The Lord definitely has other plans and utterly disdains this prediction. ;)

The Lord Gulbinates the Tsits in 3 and continues his domination of post-'98ers this week...M. Ymer, Shapo and tomorrow Tsits are not mature enough for Gulbis 4.0.

Gulbis used to be my favorite. His big serving should cause all sorts of trouble for Tsitsipas who cannot finesse his way around only winning 24% of first serve points on hard since Wimby. I just don't see how that's going to work and Ernest will find a way to snag back some first serves in a couple games for breaks. The laird donates a set in this one, but in the end Lord Gulbis in 3.:p

By definition I think God defeats a Lord but I googled and couldn't find a hierarchy chart so I'm running on instinct.

Psalm 23...The Lord is my shepherd; ergo, it's God vs Greek God.

Gulbis was in Sweden for a tournament – a hard-working man traveling for his job. He went to a bar, befriended some ladies, and they went for a walk together to take in the crisp air of the evening. The polizei staked them out, rounded them up, and threw them in jail. And when the outrage of the global community could no longer be contained, they came up with bogus prostitution charges to justify their outrageous persecution of Gulbis.

PG-13 versions of stories are so boring. The Lord is the furthest from being boring. Let the legend remain a part of The Lord's folklore.

I am really hoping for a close really well played match and not a blow out for one player or another. I am rooting for Tsitsipas to prevail...

this is a fun final. been a gulbis fan for years, would love to see him win. certainly has the form to do it. but i think tsitsipas is maybe just a bit more solid off the ground giving him the slight edge.

We're only one tiresome doubles trophy ceremony away from what must be called one of the biggest 250 finals in decades.

Tsits definitely intent on powering his way to that first title. The Lord can't gain any grip in The Young Greek God's service games.

Gloobs missing badly every single time he's pulled even the slightest bit wide today. Looking fairly awful in these return games.
