another big L for me. took evans +210. he saved 0-40 mps and then broke to love. of course he couldn't serve it out and cucked 2 balls at the net, and then finally lost in tb up a mini. story of my ****ing life. why the **** do all my bets lose as -10,000 or -5000 live? nonstop nightmare.
My condolences, truly.

I want to like Cobolli, I really do. He's easy to root for... but then we get a closeup shot of him and that lupetto tattoo just makes me want to vomit. He can't be normal...
He's a die-hard, played for them too up to the Allievi level - could have easily been a soccer player, even an obscure serie B career gets you villas and Porsches. But he went the hard way, grinding it out in challengers... gotta respect that.

Safiullin really must have pissed off the ATP when he took out Charlie last year. The guy hasn't gotten a good draw since.

Need a snapshot of his opening opponents to start 2024.

Got it. 3-3 on the season.

Brisbane
Started against Shelton
Beat Shelton
Popyrin
Arnaldi
Before losing to Rune

Aus Open
Drew 31. Griekspoor who's been playing great this year. Lost in five sets.

Rotterdam
Draws Holger Rune first round, loses in 3 sets.

Acapulco
Draws Tsitsipas rd 1.

Come on man.
Bad luck for the UTR World #15.

Safiullin getting no love from the locals in Acapulco. But I get it. Tsitsipas looks like a Greek God or something. And Roman looks like a create a player from the Topspin series. We'll see how it goes.
Safilliun would beat weak plagiarist Greek in a fistfight with his little finger. He’s a beast!

Right now I'd settle for him winning this tennis match from a set down. ;)
NO! Danish Prince is up next on the Stadium, the world (except you) ;) demands that Greek ponytail social media addict wins this match in the next 10 minutes. I love beast Safullien, but he needs to get off this court very soon.

You might well get your wish. All my guys out in the first round? Noooo...

Wow, that female ump has gained about 30 pounds since I last saw her. She must have been feasting heavily lately.

In before that Aussie social warrior complains about "misogynistic statements!" when he's a dude and I'm female, so no leg to stand on. :-D Preach to someone else, buddy.

Oh, well if that's the case, he is dead to me. Will be actively rooting against him. May even go out of my way to see him at the US Open, and make sure he sees my "Lulic 71" jersey.

And I wouldn't take it for granted that he could have had a soccer/football career, even in B. Half the guys that make it to the primavera for big clubs still end up fading away into championships below that level.

Ha, I'm glad you are saying it!

But I actually like this umpire. I think she's kinda hot, even now. If you want to see unattractive, just wait until you feast your eyes on Mmoh's service motion!

Hey, I like her too and I'm not saying she's unattractive, I'm just saying she's become a heifer since I last saw her. People here constantly call Raonic and Stanimal piglets, I call it as I see it. Gender is irrelevant.

Rudely commenting on people's weight has nothing to do with gender.

Zviraffe beaten by fellow countryman Daniel Altmaier, so good to see... Always a joy to watch Altmaiers onehander and he has improved on the forehand side which used to be a very suspect shot. Still a bit shaky, but much better now anyway. Zviraffe looked very sour when shaking hands with Daniel, made this moment even more joyful I think...

Maybe he shouldn’t have thrown in so many of those hack slices when it mattered and actually made a play down the stretch
That is what I hate about most one handers, they think they can win matches with slices. Not anymore, unless you can hit them like my man Wavrinka you are out. This is not the 90s.

A good female friend of mine was jobbing during the summer while in highschool and she said that a local soccer hero against which friends played would turn up every weekend with a different bird but order the same bottle...

Good times for Italian tennis, I'm curious who plays beside Sinner in the second double.

Did Rune play well?

Not especially, but he had some flashes of great play and hit a lot of winners. Mmoh didn't offer much resistance and served horribly. Holger was hitting short all match with little depth on his shots. He played with more discipline and patience which results in a more boring version of his usual tennis. More effective but less exciting.

Mouratoglou was very calm in the box and wasn't flamboyant or annoying, thank God.

Will help his confidence and against Mmho, no offence to the good man, playing safe must be enough to win for Holger.

Pacheco-Mendez had a hard fought win last week, but goes out meekly to Lajovic in Acapulco.

Shocked to see Rune back with Mouratoglou. I finally sat down and watched a few episodes of 'Break Point' and it was interesting to see how rocky their relationship was even back then.

Sure, way more than half by the way. But a guy who has the balls to turn himself into top 100 tennis player despite an average body type and no transcendent talent,, could have definitely made a living playing soccer - I have no doubt.

Some pics of the players at the annual players banquet on Monday night.

Trash already dumped from the tournament, thank you, Altmaier.

Cold handshake from Zverev. Very unfair to Altmaier but im not surprised. Sascha is a complete tool and nothing will ever change with his behavior.
Seriously, could Zverev possibly get any more pathetic? I really wish someone on tour (like Medvedev) would stop being coy about it, and just get all up in Zverev's face after a win.

Wait, what? Did you even see the Evans match? His slice wasn't the problem. And if you can't understand that it still has a place in the modern game, that's your problem.

An important part of the job of every tennis coach is being a punching bag.
Isn't that the truth.

Another event where the female commentator had racket information.
Said that Stefanos was testing a new stick but is back to his normal racket. She loves racket talk.
